Course Description
These courses provide practical experience in the production and performance of a
dramatic presentation with assignments in scenery, lighting, props, choreography, sound,
costumes, make-up, publicity, acting, directing, and other aspects of theatre.

Supervision of their individual and collaborative work in specific areas of theatre.

Evaluation and Assessment
Course Grade Assessment:
A.
The student will be graded on their collaborative work in their specific area of the
theatre. 40% of the grade will be based upon this observation.
B.
The student will be graded on their participation in class. 20% of the grade will be
based upon this participation.
C.
The student will be graded on their prompt book or other required documentation.
40% of the grade will be based upon this documentation.
D.
Grades will be given based upon A= 90-100%, B=80-89%, C=70-79%, D= 6069%, and F= below 60%
VIII. Attendance
Students are expected to attend all classes for which they are registered. Students who are
unable to attend class regularly, regardless of the reason of circumstance, should
withdraw from that class before poor attendance interferes with the student’s ability to
achieve the objectives required in the course. Withdrawal from class can affect eligibility
for federal financial aid.
IX.
