The Early Israelites

Monotheism is the belief in only one God.
The teachings and practices of Jewish beliefs are
called Judaism.
Many Jewish beliefs come from the first five books of
the Bible, called the Torah.
Jews view Abraham as the founder of Judaism.
The Bible says God made a covenant with Abraham,
offering him blessings and showing him the Promised
Land.

Abraham’s sons and their descendants are believed
to be the forefathers of the Jewish people.
