You will be skilled at managing relationships with third party suppliers with the skills to generate income and raise the awareness and profile of retailTRUST. One of your key areas of focus will be to continually improve the performance of all our marketing channels The role will include managing external marketing; PR; Digital and design organisations. You will be producing work for retailTRUST to the highest standards, ensuring that marketing objectives are delivered on budget and to agreed timescales. Operational Responsibilities Managing external agencies and other third party organisations, ensuring agreed deliverables are met on time and on budget Planning, management, monitoring and optimisation of offline and online marketing channels, demonstrating the value that marketing activity contributes to the organisation. Working with external agencies and Marketing & Communication Manager to ensure that strategy is focused and relevant to the needs of retailTRUST's strategic direction and is communicated to and includes information from all relevant internal employees. Assist in ensuring this strategy and other action plans are fully understood by trustees, patrons, fundraising and other staff throughout retailTRUST. Assist in facilitating effective internal communication across the organisation Responsible for being fully conversant with all aspects of retailTRUST nationally in particular our charitable work and fundraising activities. The Marketing Coordinator role will have a direct impact on raising awareness and marketing strategy. Outbound activity Manage, with external suppliers the production of marketing collateral to support organisational objectives Assisting the Marketing and Communications Manager, to develop and deliver a compelling email marketing strategy, delivering objectives and keeping retail employers/employees engaged with our work. Support with managing the social media presence, maintaining an output of exciting content and a consistent tone of voice. To support the Regional Fundraising and Events Managers with materials for them to sell in corporately to their business network partners Updated August 2014 Inbound activity Supporting the development and curation content on the retailTRUST website and continually monitoring performance and adjusting our content strategy as appropriate in line with SEO best practice and latest developments. Develop new links and maintain current relationships with retail companies to include retailTRUST information and activities on their websites. Manage targeted advertising such as PPC and remarketing channels as and when appropriate. Personal Presentation / Teamwork The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing and Communication Manager as the face of the retailTRUST brand and together you are role models to the team. You set the standards for etiquette and personal grooming that all the team should aspire to achieve every day. You are dynamic, a go getting marketer with an acute understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, a self starter and problem solver who isn't afraid of tackling new and exciting challenges. Ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company’s commercial activities and internal affairs Work effectively and efficiently with the Marketing Department delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring good time management. You are expected to arrive in good time each day and ensure the team is presented as per the Company grooming policy. Apply an approachable, helpful and courteous manner towards external and internal customers, being reliable, supportive and flexible as the business demands Ensure suitable and structured organisation, communication and monitoring of departmental rotas including holidays and TOIL where applicable Maintain a clean and tidy department at all times, that complies with Company Health and Safety Policy and Best Practice guidelines.
