The Opportunity Rodan + Fields is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to help ideate and execute the company’s key marketing initiatives across online channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing Rodan + Fields’ online presence, including website content, micro-site maintenance, SEO strategy, and Google analytics. This position will report to the Marketing Director and work with Marketing, IT, Field Development and Finance teams to create and implement effective web marketing programs, optimize websites, enhance our online presence and support marketing launches. The manager will also be responsible for staying abreast of industry trends and bringing ideas for further growth to the team. The ideal candidate will be engaged in online marketing trends, experienced with website management and oversight, skilled at analyzing web traffic statistics and behavioral patterns, and will be able to look at the big picture while detailed oriented enough to manage complex projects. The ability to generate high-impact ideas, multi-task and drive projects forward under pressure, along with commitment, passion and enthusiasm for this work is essential. Responsibilities: • • • • • Plan, manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across web channels. Oversee all R+F online platforms, including the corporate website, Consultant websites, microsites and the R+F Mall. Strong ability to think through, plan, innovate and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Customer Service and Finance to support online Marketing initiatives and launches. Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide post-deployment support. Ensure consistent delivery of fully optimized webpages including SEO, content relevance, content length and style, calls to action, customer buying cycle alignment, target audiences, metrics capture, etc. • • • • • • • • • Build and maintain Google analytics for corporate websites and report on results to business stakeholders. Develop standard site performance reporting and communicate key findings to stakeholders. Partner with IT to roll out web launches, including conducting web testing before IT launches. Support internal stakeholders by developing procedures for web publishing, implementation and maintenance. Create and maintain a consistent style across company’s websites. Perform quality assurance testing on new website content and functionality, ensuring site accessibility for users (i.e. across browsers, operating systems, etc.) Proactively identify opportunities for website enhancements that are consistent with site strategy and brand standards. Assess competitive websites regarding content, look and feel, and functionality, and make corresponding improvement recommendations. Oversee Web Marketing Coordinator to achieve marketing goals. Provide PR, event marketing and other marketing related support. Requirements: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in online marketing with a minimum of 2 years management experience. Social media and direct sales experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Project management experience, including managing complex projects, business relationships with internal clients, external vendors, solution providers and contractors. Passion for user-centric experiences, innovative creative, thoughtful design and breakthrough brand storytelling. Demonstrated success with Web 2.0 channels and affinity for learning new technologies. Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including Web 2.0, HTML 5.0 and social media, and knowledge of SEO theory and practice, including how it relates to page performance. Google analytics experience a plus. Experience with CMS tools – managing content, authoring, editing and publishing. Basic HTML skills and knowledge of usability, accessibility and cross browser issues required. CSS, FTP, JavaScript and Flash skills a plus. Experience working with various, cross-functional, internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget with limited direction. Results-driven, innovative thinker. Operate at hands-on detailed level in addition to strategic thinking. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to create and maintain detailed documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment. Ability to positively adjust to a rapidly changing environment Proficient using the latest versions of all Microsoft Office applications
