Title MARKETING MANAGER POSITION OBJECTIVE Highly motivated B2B marketing manager with excellent creative and organisational skills. Working with the Senior Marketing Manager the marketing manager is responsible for marketing across the Concerto Group events businesses. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Establish effective working relationships with the event businesses sales team/s and senior managers within the event businesses. • Execute online and offline marketing initiatives; email, print, direct mail, social media, websites and SEM/SEO. • Work closely with the event businesses to ensure the successful implementation of marketing plans and analyse performance. • Demonstrate effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the event management businesses. • Write press releases and maintain strong relationships with key press contacts. • Create effective and compelling sales-ready tools, including market-facing presentations to be used by sales team/s. • Manage creative production of online and offline marketing assets, graphic design, video production and web development. • Understand the products and services offering and approach of key competitors. Execute market research and competitive intelligence. • Conduct win/loss and post-engagement client interviews/surveys and report findings to Senior Marketing Manager. • Produce weekly and monthly marketing reports outlining the performance as defined by the Senior Marketing Manager. • To manage all client information through the in-house CRM system accurately and in a timely manner. • To attend relevant trade fair/exhibitions/networking events and company promotions. • To participate in familiarisation trips, site inspections, key events and client entertaining as requested which may include out of hours and weekends. • Brief, liaise with and manage all suppliers in line with delivery objectives. • Plan, manage, action and balance marketing budget working with the Senior Marketing Manager. • Responsible for the smooth planning and delivery of promotional events including the organisation and monitoring of guest lists. • Organisation and delivery of all corporate gifts including seasonal gifts such as Easter and Christmas. • Responsible for accurate stocktake of marketing material. • Responsible for ideas and developing marketing initiatives to enable sales to meet targets. • Responsible for the proper use of all branding across the all marketing communications (quotes, menus, presentations etc.) • Responsible for presentations including tendering for new business. • Assist sales team/s with venue plan to help promote venues and venue activity. • Manage the Clear Winners process liaising with sales team and central marketing team to determine which venues and agents qualify. • Responsible for all aspects of projects, including: meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and monitoring procedures.
