The firm’s core capabilities include intelligence, brand, design and implementation with expertise across a wide range of retail, restaurant, service provider and CPG brands. The CG team works within a beautifully restored brewery building, built in 1885, in downtown Columbus. The Outbound Marketing and Sales Specialist works directly with the Market Manager, Inbound Marketing Specialist and the sales team to maximize the company’s new business growth opportunities. The role is to develop, coordinate, and implement the daily, weekly, monthly marketing and sales activities in support of the company’s marketing and sales strategic plans. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • • • • • • • • • • • Strategic usage of market research and intelligence Company branding and positioning in the market and competitive environment Outbound marketing and sales campaigns such as digital mailings, emarketing, advertising, news releases, lead generation phone calls Developing and the administration of all collateral materials, assistance with sales presentations and proposals, and management of electronic client and prospect market data held in support applications (Such as HubSpot, Salesforce and/or FunctionPoint). Coordination with a variety of client services administration duties including but not limited to acting as a liaison for new clients during transition to implementation, client communications, and special offerings. Conduct market demand and prospective client research to determine client needs and proactively supplement prospect-provided and competitive information Maintain competitive landscape information and leverage when needed Assist with company branding and positioning, outbound marketing and sales campaigns and activities such as e-marketing, advertising, new releases, lead generation phone calls, public relations activities (i.e. speaking with editors, getting press and publications in venues), referral programs, designed to create brand awareness and demand for services. Help create, coordinate, execute, and maintain digital assets/inventory of all marketing and sales assets and simplify their use w/clients and prospects Provide input to company’s website presentation and online tools Partner with the sales team in preparing proposals and RFI/RFP responses to all submitted for information, pricing and/or proposals in a timely manner PAGE 1 © CHUTE GERDEMAN • • • Assist in the development of professional and concise sales presentations using website or alternative technologies Assist with the management of leads follow-up/setting up ‘triggers’ Maintain updated client information and prospect information via the systems and/or applications available This role is primarily responsible for providing ‘qualified’ prospects/leads from our outbound efforts to the sales team in order to increase revenue. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE: • • • • • • 3-5 years of outbound/inbound marketing experience College degree in marketing and/or business administration preferred Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce and FunctionPoint (2-5 years with any or all software applications) Ability to maintain updated client information and prospect information via the systems and/or applications available Ability to assist with preparation, analysis, and coordination of sales and marketing strategy plans, reports provided, budgets, and client/prospect records.
