Rob Shields is the founding Principal of Pinpoint Marketing Partners, a firm specializing in providing consultative services for market-driven growth strategies and customer-centric organizational design. He also serves as the Board Chair of the Canadian Marketing Association. Prior to Pinpoint, Rob Shields was responsible for leading Aeroplan’s commercial team and managing all aspects of growing the program’s partner engagement. Rob has a great depth of knowledge and expertise in the Consumer Marketing field, having extensive experience in strategic development and implementation of integrated marketing programs, systems and business models, as well as a core business development and marketing background. Prior to joining Aeroplan, Rob was Vice President of Customer Relationship Management and Chief Privacy Officer of Hudson’s Bay Company. In this capacity, Rob played a leadership role in the creation of the Hbc brand and Hbc Rewards program. Prior to joining Hudson's Bay Company, Rob held a variety of senior positions with Optus Corporation, Braxton Associates / Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, the Loyalty Group and Warner Lambert. Rob received an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration specializing in Marketing from Queen's University.
