Cuteness Factor
Bandwagon
Advertisers try to make you believe
that everyone else is buying the
product, so you should too!
Transfer
Using rich, beautiful people having fun
to sell a product. Advertisers are
trying to make you think that if you buy
the product, you will look like or be like
the people in the ad.
Humor
Advertisers try to make you laugh. If
you laugh, you will make a positive
connection to their product & buy it!
Celebrity Endorsement
Advertisers use celebrities or a famous
person to sell their product.
Statistics or Science
Advertisers use numbers or scientific
facts to sell their products. Often, the
ads suggest that their product is
scientifically proven to make you
healthier.
The Cute Factor (or the “Aahh”
Appeal)
Advertisers use a cute image, such as
animals, children, or babies to sell their
product.
