Overall Purpose of Role :
Responsible for the coordination and creation of content across Hotel Operations and On Board
Revenue to primarily support and develop digital signage on board including video, imagery, retail TV
channel content and digital assets. Coordination of content will also be required for non-digital
marketing activity in support of on board revenue including the in cabin magazines, pre cruise and
tactical promotional activity.
Main Activities and Responsibilities







Coordination of marketing and promotional content across Hotel Operations in support of digital
and print marketing activity
Create, update and manage all digital signage assets for use on board across CUK fleet
Proficiently Use the latest design software to create and edit digital assets
Create, manage and update central log of digital content for Hotel Operations to include F&B,
Shops, Spa, Photo, Casino, Shorex, Comms, Ents, Future Cruise (E.g. Menus, Shops promotions)
Create, manage and update content for retail TV channels on a monthly basis
Manage doc library in relation to brand toolkit
Flow in artwork of marketing materials from design studio where required e.g. plasma screen
slides, population of templates

Work with in house design teams to ensure all marketing materials are on brand
Ensure all marketing collateral is line with any briefs and Brand guidelines (internal and external)
Update Operations brand guidelines where relevant to include updated content and marketing
assess
Hand off content and marketing materials to Communication Managers on board where relevant,
and manage the uploading and removal of assets
Manage the logistics and distribution of marketing assets and content according to worldwide
ship deployment
Ensure any spend is line with approved budget
Perform ad-hoc tasks for Marketing, PR, Advertising, New Media departments such as supplying
news content, proofing copy, checking brochure cover images etc in support of Hotel Operations
Customer Responsibilities (Internal & External Customers)

Liaise with all CUK internal departments, on board teams, operators, 3 rd parties and agencies to
source and manage content distribution and act as key point of contact for these stakeholders

Manage content sign off process with all stakeholders
Act as HO point of contact for on board Communications Mangers with regards to content and
marketing asset requirements
Technical (including systems) and/or Professional Responsibilities



Must have experience in using latest design software
Preferable experience in After Effects
Experienced using, updating and managing Content Management Systems
Administration Responsibilities



Manage the content and asset logs ensuring they are regularly updated and where relevant
update any Brand guidelines as required
Responsible for communicating updates and changes to on board teams and other stakeholders
Ensure that material is produced accurately, within set timescales and according to brand
guidelines

and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via
business systems within employees control (list not exhaustive).
To undertake ad hoc duties as required.

Essential:

A Level, NVQ equivalent in Design or Media
Desirable:


Knowledge of graphics and layout, desktop publishing, still and video photography.
Degree level in Design or Media
Experience
Essential:

Proven experience in media or marketing environment
Desirable:

Experience within consumer marketing environment
