Course description:
This course aims to give you an advanced level of knowledge in Promotion field, which is one of
the marketing four Ps. This course will increase our appreciation to the importance of promotion
as a marketing activity for all organizations. Student will study all elements that together
compose the promotional mix: Advertizing, Personal selling, public relations, and sales
promotion. Moreover, the course will give much attention to the usage of the newly developed
technologies in promoting an organization’ image, products, and services.
The discussion also will cover a very important topic, which is the importance of integrating an
organization’s communications in order to send a clear and consistent message to its audience.
Evaluation Plan:
Students will be evaluated in this course as follows:
1- First exam
20%
2- Second exam 20%
3- Final exam
50%
4- Absences
10%
Note: students who participate effectively will be rewarded by extra marks. So Please
Participate.

Important Rules:
1. You are expected to attend all classes. But, you are allowed to miss up to 15% of the total
attendance. No excuse is required to miss classes within the allowable 15%.
2. Switch off your mobile phone while in the class, and do not leave it in front of you.
3. Participate in the class wisely and purposefully.
4. Come to class on time.
5. Make up exams can be considered only in exceptional cases, with a justifiable excuse. Such
exams are expected to be more difficult than standard exams.
