Marketing Communications Coordinator Job Description: The Marketing Communications Coordinator assists the VP of Marketing in implementing and managing various marketing initiatives for the company’s advertising, public relations, social media, event planning, internal communications and relations, direct marketing, and sales support efforts. Job Responsibilities: - Marketing activities management: Maintain calendar of marketing activities, gather results for analysis/reporting and quarterly reports (website analytics, email marketing campaign results, press release exposure and ad buy performance, etc.). - Advertising: Maintain media kits, assist with media buy placement and coordinate with ad agency to ensure materials reach publications on time - Public relations: Manage media list and editorial calendars - Social media: Monitor social media activity in our market space, may assist with social media posts and analysis - Event planning: assist with promoting company presence at trade shows and corporate events, coordinate logistics to ensure deadlines are met - Internal communications and relations: help plan company events and happy hours, manage monthly employee newsletter, assist with employee recognition and make company-wide announcements - Direct marketing: Manage email and direct mail campaigns to agents, dealers and prospects. List management, distribution and reporting - Sales support: Update and maintain PPTs for sales team as needed, coordinate with graphic designer and ad agency to ensure point-of-sale materials are current Job Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Detail-oriented self-starter Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills Ability to distill performance metrics data Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ marketing experience in similar position Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience writing for marketing communications; newsletter experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Must be highly organized Finance, Insurance, Automotive and/or B2B marketing experience a plus Bachelor’s Degree in a marketing- or communications-related field Benefits: - Comprehensive health care benefits including dental and vision, 401K plan along with paid vacation and sick time. - Free healthy lunch food provided for all onsite employees; company refrigerators stocked weekly. - Casual work environment. - Valuable analytical and hands-on experience in all aspects of marketing communications.
