Marketing Project Manager Blue Microphones is looking for a full-time Marketing Project Manager. Recipient of the “Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies Award” for four years running, Blue is a highly regarded, premium brand in consumer electronics and professional recording products, with a broad lineup of well-established and innovative, high quality offerings at the professional and consumer level. The company will continue its rapid growth, propelled by sales of products in new segments and markets, and a reputation for innovative industrial design, novel features and remarkable quality in a range of product categories. The Marketing Project Manager is an essential ingredient for the Blue Marketing team. This role will manage schedules, budgets and timelines for a variety of projects, including: product launch activities; channel projects and communications; tradeshows; promotions; media and advertising; PR; and artist relations. An extremely detailed and organized approach is critical for this position. The ideal candidate must have strong relationship building skills. Must be able to work independently as well as on a team. Key Responsibilities Manage project workflow, particularly as it relates to team resources (both internal and external) Manage team’s overall resource load (internal and external) and work to allocate optimally on regular basis Manage outside vendor relationships, timelines, communications, and invoicing Work with Product Marketing role on go-to-market planning logistics Manage the communication of deadlines and specif ic deliverables per individual team members Act as Marketing’s representative in interdepartmental discussions around deliverables; provide updates on deliverables and act as a single point of contact Track marketing budget spends and project codes (as appropriate) Coordinate artist and review gear orders, inspections, shipping, as well as tracking and monitor loaned gear for reviews and artists Assist with coordination of tradeshow activities Work with Channel Marketing manager to coordinate distribution of Marketing Collateral to both internal sales teams and distributors Work with Product Marketing to coordinate launch and campaign deliverables on an ongoing basus Schedule and lead weekly status review meetings Maintain and improve productivity by setting and enforcing deadlines— accountability is key for this role Responsible for excellent coordination and organization of all projects, thus increasing productivity of other team members in their respective areas Qualif ications and Requirements 2-4 years of marketing project management experience required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience desired Formal training in project management preferred Extreme diligence and organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to effectively communicate with a diversity of individuals and to evaluate situations and to act quickly Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Familiarity with project management applications such as Basecamp If you are interested in the opportunity to join the team at this exciting company, please submit a resume (preferably in MS Word) to [email protected] describing your skills, relevant experience and prior work.
