JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Email Campaign Manager Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager Role Purpose: Farrow and Ball send over 8 million emails per year, delivering targeted, relevant and inspirational emails to our customers. We are now looking for an Email Campaign Manager who will be responsible for the design, production, delivery, reporting and optimisation of all our email campaigns. Each campaign must be targeted with clear objectives whether its converting customers at different stages of the journey from prospects to loyals, gaining attendance of painter decorators at an event or driving footfall of décor lovers into London showrooms. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of the email marketing campaign strategy with the clear purpose of increasing email campaign performance. Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities: Work with insight and content team to create and manage the email marketing campaign programme, ensuring that all campaigns are documented in a calendar by market and by customer type Design, produce and deliver all email marketing campaigns including automated email programs with our Email Service Provider (ESP). Manage the ESP and work closely with them to implement new technology and techniques. Work with ESP, our data agency and internal insight team to improve data segmentation and quality. Measure on-going campaign performance and implement continuous optimisation to drive performance as part of test and learn activity. Use A/B testing, ECRM & Google Analytics to measure ROI. Report on all aspects of campaign performance with key observations and future recommendations. Work with the Digital Team and Insight Team to drive email acquisition numbers. jd/Email Campaign Manager Assist with the production of the monthly web performance report and yearly indepth analysis report to assist with online strategy, planning and decision making. Carry out online research for new projects and monitor changes in the market place to ensure good understanding of industry news, trends and best digital / ecommerce practices. Skills, Knowledge & Experience: 2-3 years experience of delivering email marketing campaigns with proven results Experience of working with email platform providers (for example – Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Dotmailer, Exact Target, IBM) Ability to write and edit HTML code and CSS within email campaign templates A strong understanding of email list management, optimisation, segmentation and email databases Experience of working with and managing third party web agencies A strong understanding of Google Analytics Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software A confident user of Microsoft packages including Excel; Behaviours: Highly analytical with drive for results and excellence Strong communication and organisational skills Proactive, tenacious & highly motivated Effective team working with smaller digital and wider marketing team This is an outline Job Description and employees are expected to undertake other duties as directed.
