Lalin Dias is Vice President – Exchange Systems at Millennium Information Technologies.
Lalin joined MillenniumIT in 2001 and has over ten years of experience implementing trading systems.
He currently heads MillenniumIT’s trading engine business which covers the product development,
implementation and support of Millennium Exchange, the company’s flagship product. This business
supports close to 20 exchanges trading a variety of asset classes (e.g. equities, fixed income,
commodities) in mature and developing markets. Prior to his current role, Lalin was the product
manager for Millennium Exchange and previously the head of MillenniumIT’s business analysis practice.
Lalin worked for the Government of Sri Lanka on its public sector reform programme prior to joining
MillenniumIT. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
