The use of positive and negative control probes is highly recommended with both mRNA DAB and RED
detection kits for validation of assay performance. ACD provides positive and negative control probes and
cell line controls designed to work with RNAScope VS FFPE reagent kits. Tissue control slides are available
through Ventana. The use of controls on every run is strongly recommended to demonstrate reproducibility
and facilitate assay development.
