TheraGest™
This high potency enzyme supplement is designed to optimize the function of the digestive system in breaking
down fat, carbohydrate, and protein. Digestive enzymes assist the body in breaking down large food particles
into smaller particles that can be efficiently absorbed by the intestinal tract. Improper digestion can lead to
abdominal discomfort such as bloating, feeling of fullness and constipation as well as nutrient malabsorption
and deficiency.
The enzymes contained in this formulation are provided by pancreatin, a potent extract from porcine pancreas
that contains enzymes specific for digestion of fat, protein, and starch. The USP pancreatin material contained
in this product provides the following enzyme activity:
• Lipase (Fat-specific) 9,000 USP helps break down dietary fats and aids in the absorption of fat soluble
vitamins (A, D, E & K) important for energy and proper functioning of many different organs.
• Amylase (Starch-specific) 60,000 USP helps break down
starches from carbohydrates into glucose, the main source
of energy for the brain, as well as every cell within the body.
This product may be useful for individuals who wish to enhance
and maintain efficient digestive function by supplementing with
lipase, protease and amylase. Do not take if allergic to pork.
One tablet daily with each meal is recommended. Swallow only
(do not chew) and do not exceed 7 tablets per day.
