RFP Questions and Answers
1. How many caterers will be chosen? A number has not been designated.
2. How will the marketing plan include caterers? Generally, our marketing efforts will direct potential users to the
Brenton Plaza website which will have an approved caterer list with links.
While our marketing plan is not finalized, we plan to do online advertising, social media, advertising as appropriate in
wedding guides, skywalk advertising, and are looking into radio, television, print and other opportunities.
3. How will different proposed compensations be handled? They will be taken into consideration and discussed by the
committee. We encourage you to submit a compensation that is most viable for your company. As noted in the
application, a minimum of 10% food/beverage is required. All bids are confidential.
4. Are Brenton Plaza renters required to use approved caterers for food/beverage? Yes, with the exception of public
events or events using food vending carts/booths. If someone calls the Plaza to book a private event, we will require
they use an approved caterer (unless they are using food vending carts/booths).
