False Prophets and the End Times – Part 5
Today we are going to close out the series on False Prophets and the
End Times with a focus on the Messianic Community.
1) Last week we taught about Hanukah and we saw an example of
one of the greatest false prophets / false messiahs in history in
Antiochus Epiphanies. A Hellenized Assyrian. He led hundreds of
thousands if not millions astray from their covenant with God in
favor of Greek sun god worship.
2) True Prophets do not tell the future. That is the job of fortune
tellers and evil spirits. True prophets did receive visions from
Yahovah about the future but their primary job was one and the
same for all prophets.
To lead people back to Yahovah, His
instructions and back into covenant with Him and to speak the
Word of God with conviction and authority.
3) Christianity is only “True Christianity” - IF you are imitating,
following, acting like and becoming more like Yahshua every day.
If you are NOT doing that…. If you ignore the way he lived, don’t do
what he did, don’t act like he acted and don’t want to become more
like him every day then you are nothing more than those who are
spoken of in Matthew 7:23. When Yahshua says “I never knew you.”
Now let’s talk about a much more volatile subject. Let’s clarify and
be clear on what I mean by the Messianic Community having false
teachers or prophets and many have false doctrines.
Of course I do not mean ALL of them. But it is imperative for you to
realize that this is most likely where YOU could get tripped up if it
were possible so you must pay close attention to this community.
Justin and Laura, David and Aprill Childers, Elling….. they have all
been studying the Scriptures for many, many years. They simply are
not going to fall for some Scriptural diversion like you can now eat
pork or celebrate Sabbath on any old day they want. IF they could
be deceived it will come from the Messianic Community and more
than likely it would come from someone they have respect for.
Why am I so worried about this and concerned? Because I believe
that it is going to be the cause of the great deception of believers.
This is the community you would least expect to find non-Scriptural
teachings or Scripturally twisted teachings.
I am also primarily speaking to those who teach in this walk as they
teach doctrines of men where there is no Scriptural Truth.
Pop Quiz…… How many religions use, teach from and follow all 66
books of the Bible? I will give you 10 seconds to count them.
Answer: 0
Judaism uses only the front of the book
Christianity uses only the back of the book and references to the
front of the book when it is convenient (achem….. tithing).
No other religion truly follows all 66 books of the Bible
In reality, truly following the Tanakh or Original Testament by the
letter of the Law AND following the Renewed Testament in Spirit as
Yahshua and his followers taught us is NOT a religion but rather a
diligent following of the covenant laid out from the foundation of the
world and given to all the patriarchs over time.
You see…. This has to be our goal. To become covenant people.
No religion, just pure covenant relationship with the Father through
Yahshua Messiah and his blood shed for our redemption.
When we realize this then we can be extra careful to avoid anything
that is religion based or denominationally skewed. I bring this up to
point to the Messianic community. Today, Messianic Judaism has
become “Another Religion” and the leadership amongst the MJAA
and UMJC have petitioned the Pope of all people, to accept them as a
legitimate World Religion.
Of course the Jewish people who follow Judaism are screaming NO.
We made up this religion and its our religion not yours.
Our Rabbi’s made up these traditions.
Our Rabbi’s convinced the people to not follow Torah and follow us.
Our Rabbi’s wrote all of the things you are copying and embracing
and we don’t like it.
So before we launch into this section it is important for us to define
“What is the definition of Messianic Judaism”.
“Messianic Judaism” is an oxymoron with emphasis on the word
moron – no pun on words intended.
Judaism is defined in most dictionaries as “the monotheistic religion
of the Jews.” To take it one step further the word is made up from
the word Judah (referred to the Jews or those living in the land of
Judah) and ism at the end of the word indicates “belief, attitude,
style, etc. that alters the main word it is with. Webster dictionary.
So Judaism is the religious belief system of the Jews. To be certain,
this is centered on the Old Testament or Tanakh, but it looks nothing
like the Covenant that was passed on to the “Israelites” by Moses at
Mt. Sinai after they came out of Egypt.
Judaism in itself is a severe and deliberate deviation from the
covenant of God. They had abandoned the covenant by adding to his
word and taking away from his word. They set up structures of
hierarchy that was corrupt and when Yahshua came he made sure to
rip them apart at every chance and opportunity he had.
So what is Messianic Judaism?
It is simply people that have
recognized Yahshua or Jesus as their Messiah, but they are not ready
to let go of Judaism. They’re reasons sound simple on the outside….
Number one answer given? “Our calling is to reach the Jews”!
How can you reach the Jews by offering them the same corrupt
religious system that has separated Judah from God to begin with?
Let me be clear. There is nothing wrong with being a Messianic Jew
But there is no place for Judaism as a religion in the Kingdom of God
just as there is no place for any denomination of Christianity in the
Kingdom of God.

not
be
practicing
Lutheranism,
Catholicism,
Episcopalism,
Universalism,
Messianic
Judaism,
you’re out of your mindism, or any other ISM for that matter.
He will be teaching Torah from Mt. Zion with an iron rod. He will be
reigning on earth as a King in the splendor and glory of a King. The
big difference between Him and all other Kings is that He will rule in
complete and total righteousness according to His Fathers Word.
So right off the bat, when you see a place that uses the phrase
Messianic Judaism, Messianic Jewish Temple, Messianic Jewish
Fellowship…… do not judge them but move forward with caution
and have your spiritual discernment on high alert.
They may have a heart for following the Torah and the Bible as their
sole source of right and wrong, but more often than not you will find
Rabbinical rules in place that can easily lead people astray.
So let’s take a look at some of the most common teachings amongst
both
Messianic
Jewish
Synagogues
and
simply
Messianic
Fellowships. This is not a complete list by any means but will give
you an idea of what I am referring to.
• Gentiles don’t need to follow the Torah only Jews do.
BIG LIE being taught in Messianic Fellowships all over the world.
• It’s ok for women to be teachers of a congregation.

Yes, I said it out loud. Scriptures tell us the men were to be the
priests and teachers. The women had great value and should be
treasured above everything except God, but coddling and
compromising the Word of God by today’s Fellowships is primarily
because women control 75% of the check books in families…..
including mine
• They call themselves Rabbi (in Hebrew “Great One”).
This was a Rabbinical Tradition because they loved the adoration of men.
This is the worst of the all in my humble opinion.
• Obeying Rabbinical laws when Yahshua told us not to do so.
Obeying, honoring, keeping, teaching, and commanding Rabbinical
Laws as a way of life.
• How many people think they are required to light candles at
sundown on Friday? Rabbinical law.
• We are to only wear our prayer shawl during services and at
prayer times….. Rabbinical law.
• How about following a calendar ……… for unity? Rabbinical law.
• Recite the Shema twice a day? Rabbinical law.
• Tie Teffelin on your forehead and arm? Rabbinical law.
• Can’t use the name of God - substitute Adonai or LORD.
Rabbinical law.
• Pray after you eat your meal? Rabbinical law.
• Can’t eat beef and milk together? Rabbinical law.
• You have to marry your sister……. Just seeing if your paying attention.
These are all Rabbinical laws and they were taught as being God’s
laws by the leaders in Israel and still are taught today in many if not
most Messianic Synagogues or Congregations.
How many thousands of people justify continuing with these
man-made laws of the Pharisees for convenience, unity, simplicity,
easier planning, or they just enjoy them?
Look me in the eye and tell me you have not heard one or all of those
excuses from well meaning individuals?
What did Yahshua say? Matthew 23:2-3 “Upon the seat of Moses do
the Pharisees and the sages sit. Now, all which Moshe says to do, you
shall do: but according to their ordinances and deeds, do NOT do
because they say they follow Moshe but they do not!
This is the literal translation.
Am I telling you NOT to light candles, not to wear a tallit, not to
recite the Shema? I purposely am wearing a tallit today to make a point.
NO, I am telling you to stop doing it thinking it is required when it is
not in the WORD OF GOD. And most of all stop teaching others to do
the very things our Messiah said DO NOT DO.
Start paying more attention to what the Word of God really says and
less of what some famous preacher, Rabbi, or Messianic Guru says.
People will drive hours in this walk to go see some great famous
teacher. They come away mesmerized and amazed yet that teacher
is FULL OF Rabbinical tradition and people can be deceived so easily
it is not even funny.
All someone has to do is be a good speaker, hock a few loogies when
he pronounces a Hebrew Word and people are dumbfounded…..
They look upon these people as the only source of knowledge on the
planet. I few Hundalai Shundalai who stole my bow ties and they
empty their wallets for these people…..
Why on earth would Yahshua go out of His way to tell us to
“STOP following the ordinances of the Rabbi’s”? Repeat question!
Because by following them you are giving credibility to them
without even knowing it. You could be deceiving yourself but more
than likely you are deceiving others that watch and observe you
following these Rabbinical laws.
So what about those commands I just spoke of?
Only Jews need to keep the Sabbath and commandments? Ex 12:49
There shall be one Torah for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”
You enjoy lighting candles? It is a wonderful tradition. Just don’t
teach anyone it is required and certainly don’t believe that for
yourself. There is no candle lighting requirement or prayer found in
Scripture and this came about long after Yahshua was here. He
never lit a Shabbat candle. If you choose to do this, why not pray a
prayer from your heart rather than a Rabbinical Takinot?
Prayer shawls need to be worn during prayers and service?
There were no prayer shawls in Yahshua’s time. All those pictures
of him with a shawl on his head are all made up. The shawl was
developed 800 plus years after Messiah primarily since they
stopped wearing robes. The actual commandment is to wear tzitzits
and (contrary to Rabbinical law) we should wear them all day long.
How about following a calendar for unity? This may not sit well
with everyone but I am not instructed by God to speak only what
sits well with people. Please stick a finger in each ear for 1 minute if
you don’t want to hear this Scripture verse regarding the calendar.
Deuteronomy 16:1 "Observe the month of Aviv, and keep Pesach to
Yahovah your God; for in the month of Aviv, Yahovah your God
brought you out of Egypt at night.
The Scriptures command us to Observe or “Shawmar” in Hebrew
which means to have charge of, keep, protect, retain, guard…….
Guard the month of the Aviv,
The only thing Aviv means is “the ripening barley”.
There is a reason why we are commanded to guard, protect and
observe this month.
Because it is impossible to celebrate the
Moedim on the proper times without doing that one simple
command yet almost every Messianic Fellowship out there has
thrown away that Scripture in favor of ideas or commands NOT
found in the Scriptures. The only reason we follow the calendar we
do is because “We are trying with all our heart to follow Scripture”.
Unity is NOT a valid reason for picking a calendar IF you know that
that particular calendar is wrong. I will leave it at that.
Recite the Shema twice a day? It’s a beautiful portion of Scripture
that we recite here at times but it is impossible to read
Deuteronomy 6 and come up with you are required to recite it twice
a day. It is a horrible twisting of the Scriptures and Rabbinical law.
Tie Teffelin on your forehead and arm? Maybe one of the more
ridiculous twisting of the Scripture, but it was going on in Yahshua’s
time and he made fun of it. He said they did it all for show.
*Is God more honored by a box on your head or His Torah
permanently implanted in your cerebral cortex right behind your
forehead and in practice every day as you KEEP HIS TORAH?
Can’t use the name of God - so substitute Adonai or LORD.
This came into effect more than 100 years after Messiah died.
Messiah, all the disciples, all the Pharisees ALL used the name
Yahovah. God would not have listed his name 7000 times if He did
not want you to know it and use it. It should always be used in
reverence and respect, but for heavens sake use it.
Pray after you eat your meal? Deut. 8:9-11 It speaks of once you
have come into the promised land and are enjoying God’s blessings
and have eaten and are full…… do not then forget to Bless the LORD
for the good land he has given you. They have twisted this into
praying after you eat your meals.
Is it ok to pray after your meal? Sure, but don’t teach others it is law
and don’t think you are following God’s law by doing it.
Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 4:5 that food is to be received with
gratitude for it is sanctified by the WORD of God (Torah) and prayer.
Word of God tells us what IS food and prayer cleanses outside
impurities such as bacteria. If you want to pray for God to cleanse
the bacteria after it is inside your body then by all means go right
ahead but Yahshua blessed the food and wine BEFORE they ate.
I prefer following His perfect example.
Can’t eat beef and milk together? This was a Caananite practice of
fertility that God commanded that we do not boil a kid or baby goat
in its mothers milk. Yet despite what was obvious back then, we
find today the following Rabbinical commands widely followed.
1. Never eating dairy and meat together.
2. Establishing a six-hour waiting period between eating the two
3. Having two sinks in your kitchen
4. Having two set of utensils, two dishwashers and often two regrigerators
5. Yelling at your wife in IKEA for bringing a meat spoon into a dairy area.
Still checking to see if your paying attention with the last one…..
Let me wrap this up on the Messianic Congregations, teachers,
prophets, evangelist, guru’s, etc.
If they follow the WORD of God diligently, without waver and
unapologetically then you are going to be safe with their teaching.
If they teach man-made doctrine and sugar coat the reasons why?
Then I am pleading with you to be very cautious or wisely just run.
At the end of the day the only way you are going to be safe and
protected so that there is no way you can be deceived is to study the
Scriptures diligently.
Check every teacher you listen to against the WORD of God.
(Me included)
If you come across something that appears to contradict the Torah
or the Original writings of the Prophets then you only have two
options.
1) The writer is a heretic and a liar.
2) Or…… You are not understanding it clearly.
If the writer is in the New Testament I can assure you it is number 2.
All of the New Testament writers knew, kept and taught Torah. We
need to get strong in our understanding and knowledge of the
Scriptures so we are not and can not be deceived.
When the Anti Messiah shows up and starts saying the teachings of
the “Church’s Jesus” are correct and you can eat snakes, bugs, and
anything you want. You don’t have a Sabbath anymore and there is
nothing wrong with the pagan holidays….. watch out because
regardless of what the name is they come under “That is a False
Prophet” and you could be lead astray.
• Now as promised several weeks ago we are going take a brief look
at Revelation 17 – The whore of Babylon
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and
talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of
the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of
the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth
were made drunk with the wine of her fornication." 3 So he carried me
away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a
scarlet beast, which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven
heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet,
and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her
hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her
fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the
blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with
great amazement.
The angel goes on to explain to John the Mystery here. He explains
about the seven heads and ten horns, which we are not going to
discuss today.
The waters, which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples,
multitudes, nations and tongues. Babylon the Great, the Mother of
Harlots and Abominations of the earth has infiltrated the entire
earth. She is everywhere and today we know that the vast majority
of religions of the world all stem out of Babylon.
These religions have infiltrated the entire earth spreading the
abominations that all “Religions” do spread; which is anti- Torah
living. Departure from the one true covenant of the Father and
Yahshua and almost all religions end up worshipping the Babylonian
system.
Greek word for Harlot is Porne - one who yields herself to
defilement for the sake of gain
Do not almost all religious leaders and denominations defile
themselves (according to the Word of God) for the sake of gain?
The Mother of Harlots – Babylon is the Mother of a bunch of little
baby harlots that all follow in the same footsteps as their mother the
great harlot.
As of 2010, according to Pew Research Center, there are 2.2 billion
Christians and 1.6 billion Muslims.
Both came out of Babylon but the mother of them all was the Roman
Catholic Church and with the Protestant Reformation the Catholic
Church spawned 1000’s of little baby harlots known as new
denominations still practicing the defiling practices of Babylon.
They rejected some of the corrupt doings of the Catholic Church but
ignored many of the Scriptures that the church was not following
and they continued in many of the pagan practices of their Harlot
mother.
These new “Enlightened Ones” continued to desecrate the Sabbath,
desecrate God’s Holy Feasts, reject the commandments as a way of
life, tread on the blood Yahshua had shed by offering a perverted
grace gospel and most of all…..
They continued in their defilement in order to gain. They gained
power and money as they take the dog and pony show to a new big
top arena at a city near you.
At the End of Days, when the Anti Messiah spoken of here in
Revelation shows up you can bet we will be deceived if we are not
grounded in the WORD of God. It will have to be something so
delusional that even the elect “could” be deceived.
I don’t claim to know what this will be but I do know that the
Dragon is only coming after the “True Children of God”.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war
with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of
God, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah.
Keep your spiritual eyes open, pay attention, learn the Scriptures,
pray fervently for God’s protection over your life and Hold Fast to
that which you have received, The Truth of His Word as Taught
Correctly by His Son.
We see people come in here all the time and receive the Word of God
with joy and gladness then Satan comes and steals it away quickly.
• They can’t imagine that all these great TV preachers are wrong.
• They can’t fathom that what they grew up with is an abomination to God.
• They struggle with having to explain to their families so they choose to
abandon God’s Word in favor of what is comfortable.
I am going to close with the same verses from two weeks ago.
John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true
worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Yahshua said he spoke “Only that which His father put in His
mouth”. Yahshua is the walking, talking, living breathing Torah.
That is why he warned us that not one jot or tittle would be done
away with till heaven and earth passed away.
God’s instruction – His Torah is the only foundation that will keep
you standing firm till the end. It is the only foundation that will keep
you from being deceived in the very End Times.
The Torah is our Truth and the way Yahshua taught it is in spirit.
The Torah commanded we not commit adultery. Truth
Yahshua said we should not even lust in our heart. Spirit
And God is seeking YOU to worship Him in Spirit and through His
Torah today, while you still have time to make that decision!
