Direct Object Pronouns
(D.O.P.)
 D.O.s receive the action of the
verb…or are the object of the verb
 Me, you, he, she, it, us, y’all and them
are the D.O.P. in English.

 Direct Object Pronouns can always be
placed before the conjugated verb
(#1) in a sentence.
example: Nosotros comemos tamales.
Nosotros los comemos.
(We eat them)
 If there is a conjugated verb and an
infinitive or a conjugated verb and a
participle attach the pronoun to the
participle or infinitive (#2)
example:
Nosotros vamos a comer tamales.
Nosotros los vamos a comer. (#1)
Nosotros vamos a comerlos. (#2)
(We are going to eat them.)
