structure of the Ancient Roman Republic

given to all people and infer why these were
the natural laws at the time through a quick
write.

• Accused has right to face the accuser and
offer a defense
• Guilt had to be established “clearer than
daylight” with evidence
• Judges only follow laws and are expected
to be fair
