To evaluate the perfonnance of a holographic memory setup, appropriate simulators may be programmed in a computer. Typically 4-f
systems are considered as the basis for holographic memory setups. However, other geometries, such as the convergent correlator,
may also be considered. Different modulation schemes are typically considered to Introduce the data page, such as binary intensity,
binary phase or hybrid ternary modulation. In this paper we show the capabilities of the simulator for the convergent correlator in the
application to evaluate recording, reconstruction and retrieval. Some results are given to decide which modulation may be more robust.
