Biotic- The living things in the environment. Examples- trees, fish, ants, beetles Abiotic - The non-living part of the environment. Examples- air, temperature, soil, light, rocks Can you identify the biotic & the abiotic factors in this scene? Organization in the Environment Organism- An individual living thing. Population- A group of organisms of the same species that live in a specific area. Community- All the populations of species that live in the same habitat and interact with each other.
