full service integrated marketing communications firm specializing in marketing for multilocation and franchise organizations, announced today it has been chosen Marketing Agency
of Record by Le Boulanger, Inc., the family-owned Bay Area bread maker and operator of 17
bakery-cafes, based in Sunnyvale, California. Duke Marketing will provide strategy and
manage the Company’s marketing activities, and is assisting in the development of a new fast
casual restaurant brand, which will incorporate dinner with wood-fired specialty menu items,
set to open in Palo Alto in late June.

Duke Marketing Chosen Agency of Record for Le Boulanger, Inc.More than 60 years ago,
Paul Brunello emigrated from Venice, Italy, and brought with him the traditions of Old
World bread baking. In 1922 Paul opened his first bakery in Northern California. After nearly
40 years he gained a following as the Best Bay Area bread distributing to hundreds of
restaurants and retailers. Paul’s children, brothers Roger and Dan, took the famous breads and
pastries and opened Le Boulanger in downtown Los Altos in 1981. Just a tiny, 14-seat café
that offered delicious sourdough and specialty breads, along with a continuously expanding
menu. Today Le Boulanger serves 18 communities with their fresh baked breads and cafes,
and is the official bread of the San Francisco 49er’s Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara.
