 Authored and contributed to working and synthesis papers on resilience to
shocks and stresses, data and monitoring needs for tracking urban and
rural resilience, psychological resilience to disasters, and technology and
innovation in climate smart agriculture.
 Reviewed India’s State Disaster Management Plans and co-organized a
workshop for addressing key issues in sub-national disaster management
planning and guide alignment with international commitments.

Developed coding methodology and analyzed climate funding data for ODI
report on disaster risk reduction (DRR).
Conducted case study research and managed others’ research inputs for
DFID-commissioned report on, ‘Geography of Poverty and Disasters’
(2013).
Created quantitative Disaster Risk Management Governance Index for
report, computing scores for all countries and for selected Indian states.
Reviewed 100+ studies of disaster risk finance to pick case studies and
direct research for “Financing disaster risk reduction: towards a coherent
and comprehensive approach” (2014).
