7th Grade: Greece Group Mini-Project Due Wednesday-Thursday this week Dress like a Greek! Task: With your group, collaborate to prepare and present a summary of a Ch. 8 section summary on the Ancient Greek World. Your presentation will use the powerpoint presentation feature on Google Drive. Schedule: Monday: Read the section, summarize and draft your presentation. Tuesday: Bring TECH. Revise your summary and plan your specific slide. Lay out information/what pictures will you need, etc. (rough draft) Use Google Drive to put your presentation together and practice presenting. 1 member of group sends me link to your final presentation. Wednesday: Groups 1 and 2 share Thursday: Groups 3 and 4 share Steps for Collaboration: 1. Each person picks a section heading of the chapter (see below) to become an expert on. (Each person is only responsible for 1 SLIDE) 2. Each group member reads the passage and summarizes important information in bullet points or a creative way. 3. Group Leader creates the presentation under specific google drive log-in Group sets up the presentation theme. 4. Group Leader clicks “Share”, under “invite people” tab add the email addresses of those in your group (make sure “can edit” is selected) and send them the link to the presentation. 5. Members edit ONLY their slide. And practice presenting their slide’s information 1-2 minutes. (try not to read it!) 6. When presentation is finished, email the link to [email protected] OR add me to “who has access”. 7. Group members present in class (know your order!)
