Job Title: Field Marketing/Community Relations Coordinator Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Reports To: CEO Location: Greater St. Louis Area Position Summary The Field Marketing/Community Relations Coordinator will help drive sales at Lion’s Choice restaurants throughout the St. Louis metropolitan market. Specifically, the goal is to generate new customers, strengthen loyalty & repeat visits, and increase check size. Responsibilities will include developing & activating effective marketing and promotional programs which generate measurable results. This position will represent Lion’s Choice in the community to a variety of constituencies and will work closely with Headquarters Staff & Restaurant Managers to ensure programs are relevant, timely, and on-target with goals. Primary Responsibilities Develop a local marketing and promotional strategy in alignment with the Lion’s Choice brand platform and values, which supports the overall chain-wide marketing plan, and meets the needs of each local store trade area. Identify, develop, plan, and implement local grassroots marketing programs to build the Lion’s Choice brand, increase sales, and grow market share by raising awareness in the community, and supporting local organizations & events. Foster relationships, seek out new promotional possibilities, and establish win-win partnerships with schools, sports teams, church groups, businesses, organizations, and charities through cold-calling, prospecting, and networking. Activate local field marketing programs on-site, and supervise a team of interns to ensure successful results. Assist in development and distribution of fresh marketing collaterals, ensuring consistency with brand standards. Proactively understand, monitor, and communicate knowledge of local competitive landscape and trends. Build relationships, work professionally, and interact with executive team, company employees, partners, and customers. Collaborate with local store managers to develop plans, campaigns and events which are relevant and impactful. Measure success of local marketing and promotional programs; adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness. Manage, track, forecast and report budget results effectively; continuously source creative ideas and solutions. Update and maintain Lion’s Choice social media content on LionsChoice.com, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Manage and oversee special projects as assigned; represent the company positively in all situations. Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred - with focus on marketing, advertising, or sales. 2 years of grassroots field marketing, and promotions experience; direct restaurant experience is a plus. Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays as required to support event planning and activation. Experience coordinating projects and programs with cross-functional business units and third-party providers. Ability to balance priorities, and multi-task with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and expectations. Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively influence others at all levels of the organization.
