identified needing an exam has
already been to the doctor and fitted
with glasses. Thank you Phil and LION
Teri for assisting us with the vision
screenings. If any LIONS would like
come and serve please let Lion Tom
know.
KFMB Environmental Fair
The event went well in Flower Mound,
(a little cool). Lots of people dropped by
to find where our recycling locations
were located, so those of you with
Flower Mound locations look of an
increase in collection number. We
talked with Home Depot to plan next
time to have a shed in which to conduct
vision screenings with the SPOT

Membership renewal
A survey conducted by LIONS
International last year indicated that 70%
of new member inquiries began when
someone asked about out pin… It is a
GREAT way to start a conversation
Additionally we have taken steps to get
out Social Media products working
better for us. LION Karri and LION
Brian have just got our Twitter account
and Facebook account linked to work
together so when we send something out
on Twitter, it is immediately sent out on
Facebook too! We are starting to learn
the social media networking game and
believe it is going to improve our
presence in our Lewisville and Flower
Mound communities.
With help of Phil Loewenstein and his
marketing knowledge we believe that we
can improve our presence with the local
media as well.
We will be working hard to inform
everyone about our upcoming May 13
meeting on the I-35 widening project in
hopes of having the public attend the
event.
Feed the Flower Mound
Fireman on Sunday April
27th.
LIONS Stacy & Barb will be completing
the menu sign up at the next meeting on
the 8th.
