Marketing Manager
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Development, the Marketing Manager ensures
the planning, coordination and execution of activities related to corporate marketing, social media
and digital media. Must maintain a close working partnership with both Dealers, Category Managers
and Suppliers and supports Dealers with their marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and enact protocols to constantly improve Corporate Communications with Dealers
Execute and measure SEO tactics in order to drive traffic to the sportsexcellence.com web site
Become an expert Content aggregator and customizer, working with the Category Managers, in
order to supply Sports Excellence and its Dealers with relevant and unique content for their
collective media outlets: web, social media, etc.to increase awareness and engagement
Investigate, evaluate and ultimately choose and implement a Dealer Loyalty Program that meets the
needs of our Dealers and head office personnel
Create, update and communicate a comprehensive Marketing Calendar to ensure that all
stakeholders are up to date regarding upcoming events, launches and other key milestones
Identify emerging media and keep on top of trends in new media that could benefit Sports
Excellence and its Dealers
Keep the WEB information updated, interesting and consumer focused
Develop and manage a Print advertising program for Dealers
Assist the Category Managers with the execution of all Flyers, print and digital, and ensure that our
corporate flyer strategy is in tune with the market dynamics and trends.
Plan and execute the various In-Store Activations and other Events: POP Development;
promotional packages, etc.
Interact with key Suppliers and the respective Category Manager to develop and launch cohesive
and successful campaigns
Requirements
-
University, College or post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate, ideally in Digital
Marketing, Communications, or similar
Excellent knowledge of Email marketing
Strong understanding of Google Analytics & Adwords, Social Media outlets and Search
Engine Optimization
Experience developing and executing a strategic marketing plan
Meticulous, creative, curious, good listener, good observer who anticipates and takes the
initiative; team player and general sports enthusiast
Fluently bilingual, verbal and written
Strategic, analytical skills
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Excellent communicator
Photoshop experience a plus
