Learning Goals and Objectives_ MS Marketing (Part Time) Learning Goals Understand and master core concepts and methods in the marketing discipline and their application in business practice Function effectively in diverse business contexts Anchor marketing aspects of business activities in ethics and human values Communicate effectively in business settings Learning Objectives 1.1 Students will learn and apply core concepts and tools in the marketing discipline to develop integrated and innovative strategies to address current and emerging business problems. 1.2 Students will learn, integrate and apply qualitative and quantitative marketing tools and techniques to analyze and solve current and emerging business problems. 2.1 Students will learn to assess marketing aspects of local and global business contexts and use this assessment as input to current and emerging business decisions. 2.2 Students will demonstrate an appreciation of multiple perspectives and experiences as well as the value of teamwork in current and emerging business contexts. 3.1 Students will develop an appreciation of the principles of ethical leadership and accountability as applicable to the marketing aspects of business decisions. 3.2 Student will learn to assess workplace behaviors and marketing aspects of business decisions in terms of human values, ethical norms, and societal impact. 4.1 Students will demonstrate the spoken and written communication skills essential in business settings. 4.2 Students will develop an understanding and awareness of the impact of non-verbal communication in business settings.
