Main Verb Helping Verb slept has Grammar – Past, Present, and Future Verb Tense o Past tense verbs show action that has already happened. o Usually ends in –ed o Present tense verbs show action that is happening now. o Future tense verbs show action that has not yet happened. o Usually formed by adding will before the verb. o Write some sentences, underline the verb, and identify if the verb is past, present, or future.
