Communications Campaign Final BUS 2200 BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS Overview of the Project For our project we worked with UServeUtah, an organization that was founded on the idea of getting people involved to help with volunteer work. Our job was to create different channels of communication that can help get more people involved. Purpose and Objectives The main focus of the campaign was to simply get the community more involved in volunteer work, by using our channels of communication to make volunteering more appealing. Audience Analysis Our audience consists of individuals that are currently attending college. This audience should be easier to connect with as we are obviously attending college. We decided to use channels of communication that would appeal more to this certain group of people. Key Messages “Volunteer work can always make a difference.” “Everyone can make a difference, no matter what size the act is” “Volunteering can help you grow personally.” Channels of Communication Printed Media Online Media Presentations Greatest Success Realizing that even though there can be a lot of challenges along the way, you can still accomplish the task at hand. Lessons Learned Communication is key. Without the right amount of communication with group work, it can make it very hard to succeed.
