Job Ad – Database Manager • • • • Exciting opportunity to work for a global aid development organisation, Habitat for Humanity Work closely with the Marketing, Comms & Fundraising Team using The Raiser’s Edge (RE) Permanent Part-time position 2 (or 3) days per week Remuneration (inclusive of Super and Fringe Benefits) commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Role The Database Manager is a key member of the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (MCF) team working closely with the MFC & Finance functions. The Database Manager is a key point of contact for donation processes and procedures relating to donations and donor management. The Database Manager will be directly involved with the implementation of Habitat for Humanity’s fundraising strategy and will be responsible for high level insights and analysis. Key Responsibilities • • • • • • • General database management of The Raiser’s Edge (RE) CRM tool including creating, updating and maintaining accurate supporter records, event records and gift records Development of efficient and effective database processes and procedures Review, cleanse and maintain data integrity Manage all processes associated with donations (excluding donor relations and receipting) Assist with fundraising accounting reconciliation functions as relevant High level analysis of campaigns, donor segments and fundraising income types to provide data insights to the Management Team Development of key reporting criteria on donor behaviour and assist the fundraising team • • • • • • with long-term strategy Highly skilled ability to sort, organise and Import and Export data files Integration of Raiser’s Edge with other systems e.g. Finance, Web, Omatic Software etc Monitor and manage appropriate data security and user access security levels Provide guidance and advice to end users on RE data entry requirements and records management Provide database training to the wider team Liaise with outsourced IT company and Blackbaud to ensure efficient database processes To be successful you will: • • • • • • • • Have at least 2 years' experience working with The Raisers Edge donor management system and proven skills in database administration Have tertiary qualifications in IT, business analysis or other relevant discipline (desirable) Have basic Financial processing knowledge High level of Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel and Word Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Have great time management and the ability to prioritise workload Have a good working knowledge of donation processing and creating batches If you have the above skills and attributes, are interested in becoming part of a results-focused, passionate team and are proactive, please get in touch.
