THE ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST TROJAN HORSE
Translated from Arabic
How Muslims build Trojan Horses by riding liberal
donkeys
By Walid Shoebat
On Fox, The Factor and the Spin Stops Here with Laura Ingraham sitting for Bill O’Reilly, we debated
the Ground Zero Mosque issue with the liberal donkey Reverend Barry Lynn who went on chattering
with the usual liberal talking points, defending mayor Michael Bloomberg and Feisal Abdul Rauf, the
mastermind behind the 9/11 Trojan Mosque. At one point, Lynn was not able to say the Imam’s name
and called him Imam Raul. Ignoring his liberal claptrap I simply stated that Feisal Abdul Rauf, if
allowed to build a mosque by Ground Zero is like granting Anwar Awlaki the same privilege. Awlaki
never exploded a bomb, became a U.S. citizen, condemned terrorism and said in English everything
needed to tickle liberal ears; he called for interfaith dialogue and bridge building to even condemn
terrorism on NPR. Said Awlaki on Nov. 1, 2001: "The war of ideas in the Muslim world pits extremists,
like Osama bin Laden...and moderates, who want to solve the problems without violence”. Anwar
Awlaki headed the Dar Al-Hijrah, one of the largest U.S. mosques in Falls Church, Virginia.
The liberal NPR - like the typical Revered Barry Lynn - promoted Awlaki as "a Muslim leader who
could help build bridges between Islam and the West.” NRP even lamented “but political scientist
Telhami says these are difficult days for Muslim moderates".
Asking the question “are all American Imams the same?” will be considered stereotyping by the likes
of Lynn. But I insist—was Awlaki’s Sharia different from that of Rauf and Usama bin Laden? How
many Sharias are there? And when it comes to Imam Awlaki, would Rauf support killing him wherever
we find him? Did Rauf ever talk about rehabilitating Sharia? Or molding Muslims on how to engage
westerners to advance Sharia?
President Obama and his pastor Joel Hunter said that: “Americans are ignorant about Islam”. Since it's
ok to call Americans “ignorant”, can we also say “Muslims are ignorant about America”?
Rauf and his Cordoba Initiative along with countless Imams in the U.S. are all huddled inside a Trojan
Horse brought to the gates through a concoction of peace in English and Sharia in Arabic that
masquerades as something pleasant and tolerant to lure many whom they know do not read what they
say to the Arab world. Yet, we have accumulated much evidence on Arabic statements that shows a
common theme—the goal is to establish an Islamic state and the destruction of the U.S. from within by
molding Islam in such a way as to be palatable to the West. Islam is being molded on the basis of a new
and acceptable form in the United States and the European Union. By taking a secular and liberal
façade, it is the silent revolution and a cover-up for the political Islamic agenda; it is the technique of
many Islamists from Erdogan of Turkey to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, with its affiliates
including all major Islamic organizations in the U.S.
Gleaning from the statements made by top reformers and Muslim scholars, the message is clear—we
condemn terrorism; that is, we condemn American terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sure, these
organizations accept modernity but under Islamic and not western values. We took only six of the top
American Muslim reformers, five are even signatories of the famous peace initiative “A Common
Word” in which “Muslim scholars from every branch of Islam spoke with one voice about the true
teachings of Islam”. We investigated their Arabic. The results are shocking:
FEISAL ABDUL RAUF
We translated from Arabic Feisal Abdul Rauf’s many statements which mirrors the Muslim
Brotherhood’s agenda. His interview in Arabic with the Muslim Brotherhood’s media Hadielislam.com
should reveal much of his true intent:
http://www.hadielislam.com/arabic/index.php?pg=articles%2Farticle&id=12025
When it comes to separation of religion from state, Rauf affirms that this should be of no issue since:
“The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of [Islamic] Shariah that are required to
govern. It is known that there are sets of standards that are accepted by [Muslim] scholars to organize
the relationships between government and the governed.” We have provided several quotes from the
Arabic and translated them: http://www.shoebat.com/blog/archives/428
A LESSON ON ARABIC
AND
RAUF’S INTENT BEHIND THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE
BUT IT’S NOT A MOSQUE
During the interview on Hurytna, Rauf was using his Arabic translated book, 'What's Right with Islam',
originally in Indonesian: "Seruan Azan Dari Puing WTC: Dakwah Islam di Jantung Amerika Pasca
9/11”
http://www.mizan.com/index.php?fuseaction=buku_full&id=7114
Seruan Azan?
Those two words bring us to another issue. Seruan Azan is not "Call to Prayer" as is being translated
everywhere but “Muslim prayer call”, "A SUMMONS To Prayer" or “THE call for mosque service”.
http://onlinemuslims.ning.com/video/azan-muslim-prayer-call?xg_source=activity
The Arabic word "prayer" is "Salat" and not “Azan”. Salat can be in your private home and can even be
conducted with a group. Azan must stem from a mosque and is conducted by a Muezzin from a
minaret.
Why am I saying all of this? This shatters Rauf’s blatant lie that his intent was a community center and
not a mosque. This “summons” to prayer on the cover of his original book is connected to two other
crucial issues. First, it’s a summons from the World Trade Center. Second, the subtitle is the word
“Dawa” which refers to the Muslim great commission of spreading Islam.
So let’s construct the rest of this message and add “Dari Puing WTC: Dakwah Islam di Jantung
Amerika Pasca 9/11” and we get Rauf’s plan:
A summons for a mosque prayer service from the World Trade Center Rubble: spreading Islam from
the heart of America Post 9 /11.
So what is this Azan which the Muezzin cry out from a minaret?
Link again and see:
http://onlinemuslims.ning.com/video/azan-muslim-prayer-call?xg_source=activity
It’s translated on the youtube clip:
Allah is Great
Allah is Great
I Testify That No one is God but Allah
I Testify That Muhammad Is His Messenger
Come To Prayer
Come to Success
To Obama, Azan is the "prettiest sound in the world" by his own admission. Bloomberg must get used
to the beat. But at least he can look forward to how the façade of the World Trade Center will look. See
again:
http://onlinemuslims.ning.com/video/azan-muslim-prayer-call?
Azan is the declaration of faith in Islam, the type of thing that raises suspicions about Obama's Islamic
faith and while Americans suspect, they get condemned for suspecting and are under the scrutiny of
Nancy Pelosi, who calls for their being investigated for opposing this mosque; it is Rauf who should be
investigated.
The link connecting Rauf’s aspirations to Obama’s speech is not difficult to catch. Obama stated in
Cairo: “that all people yearn for certain things: the ability to speak your mind and have a say in how
you are governed; confidence in the rule of law and the equal administration of justice; government that
is transparent and doesn’t steal from the people; the freedom to live as you choose.”
“So what must America do now to win the trust of both the Arab and Muslim world?” Rauf was asked.
“America must do everything in its power to assist in the establishment of an Islamic world that is
confidant in itself, and fulfils the principles of an Islamic society and assist in the development of an
Islamic capitalistic democracy.”
But what does Rauf mean by these positive sounding statements?
He was asked by Hani Al-Waziri in Al-Masri Al-Yaum (Egypt Today) on February 7th, 2010
“[America] must take on three of the most major issues in the Islamic world that is; religion,
CONTROL OF GOVERNMENT AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF ECONOMIC ASSETS (distribution
of wealth).”
http://www.almasry-alyoum.com/article2.aspx?ArticleID=243114&IssueID=1674
This would mimic an Obama campaign speech. The question is, what is Rauf campaigning for? While
a link tying Rauf’s Arabic book remains to be discovered, the link of Rauf’s aspiration and Obama’s
speech are easily established. Obama stated in Cairo that he wants an Islamic welfare system “Zakat”
“…I’m committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat,”
http://www.wikio.com/video/president-obama-zakat-1475567
While most Americans are concerned over moving the mosque a few blocks further, they are unaware
of what Zakat is. Obama speaks, and the Muslims ask. Not vise versa. Muslims are already demanding
of president Obama that Zakat be made available:
http://www.muslimadvocates.org/documents/Obama%20Charity%20Letter%20II%20FINAL.pdf
The interview with Hani Alwaziri was intended to discuss Rauf’s plans for what he calls “American
Style Islam” and the Cordova Initiative's goals for the U.S. described by Rauf thusly: “To establish an
American style Islam in the United States” in which he explains his aspiration of spreading Islam in
America by using flexibility and molding Islam to become palatable to the American culture while
preserving the integrity of Islamic ideology: “If we look how Islam was spread from Hijaz (Arabia) to
Morocco then Turkey, we note that Islam was shaped by the culture and society, hence showing a
Muslim version of the architecture and culture and the arts, but with preservation of the framework of
belief and worship. We need to provide a GLOBAL ISLAM in accordance with the nature of each
society.”
Rauf is asked pointblank on Hadielislam.com by A.D Al-Farmawi: “but what do we do on a personal
level while in the midst of this low class system that is established in our Muslim states?”Abdul Rauf
responds: “First and foremost, we need to understand what Shariah requires from us. Second, we need
to be a part of a larger group that is capable to give advice [to the government] as is done by lobbies in
the West. Thirdly: We become an institutional group to provide benevolent needs in the society.” His
methodology is given as “So we advise that when there is a problem in the relationship between state
and religious institutions in the form of the question you just asked, that people need to use peaceful
means to advise the governors and government institutions and use peaceful means that are available to
send their message out to the masses.” And “we also suggest to the governors and political institutions
to consult [Muslim] religious institutions and [Muslim] personalities in the field so as to assure their
decision making to reflect the spirit of Islamic Shariah Law.”
The Trojan Horse point of entry with decades of planning was when Obama made the historic speech in
Cairo Egypt; the anointed one spoke to the Muslim world. The controversy continues over Obama’s
historic Cairo speech. Rauf on Egyptian Radio Hurytna stated that Obama’s speech was directed by
him.
Rauf boasted of his influence to both the Christian Community and the Jewish Community in the U.S.
He even signed the known document “A Common Word Between Us and You”. Some of the
signatories from the U.S. have a shady extremist and even racist past:
RASHAD HUSSAIN
OBAMA’S ENVOY TO THE O.I.C (ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC CONFERENCE)
Patrick Goodenough from CNSNEWS had excellent points connecting the dots. “The New York Times
said that Rashad Hussein, Obama’s envoy to the OIC (Organization for Islamic Conference) “helped
draft Mr. Obama’s Cairo speech and accompanied him on the trip,” and the Times of India reported that
Hussain “was associated with the team that drafted the historic speech.” According to the Washington
Post, Rhodes “sought Hussain’s counsel last year as he drafted the president’s Cairo address,” and ABC
News said Hussain “helped inform the speech President Obama gave in Cairo – particularly with the
speech’s references to the history of Islam and the Koran, and its general tone.”
Even Obama himself gave much credit to Hussain an important roll who “has played a key role in
developing the partnerships I called for in Cairo.”
But a research on Arab media yields that Rashad Hussain boasted in Arabic to Al-Ahram Egyptian
newspaper associate Yahya Ghanem of “having the largest share in the formulation of the famous
speech of President Obama from the podium of the University of Cairo, which set the general
framework for a new relationship between America and the Islamic world.” (Al-Ahram, May 11th,
21010)
http://www.ahram.org.eg/163/2010/05/11/2/19751.aspx
Ghanem: “As an American Muslim, how do you feel about a possible military strike against Iran, and
does the U.S. object if Tehran gains nuclear weapons?”
Hussain: “The United States has no objection if Iran gains nuclear capability, but for peaceful use, this
policy has been adopted by the Obama administration's policy aimed at ensuring Tehran's right to
obtain peaceful nuclear technology stressing our rejection [of Iran] to obtain nuclear weapons.”
Then the code word begins when Ghanem asked Hussain in direct fashion if he is a mover and shaker:
“Part of your work covers Iran since it is part of the Islamic world, have you made things happen on
this level?” Ghanem notes in the article “Hussain refuses to talk”. Then Ghanem insists: “Do you not
think that a move on your part will have a positive impact on resolving the crisis?” Hussein responds “I
think so, but we will do so when the right opportunity comes.”
Islamists like Rashad Hussain under the guise of modernity enters the establishment pretending to be
the fix between the U.S. and the Muslim world. His recorded comments at a Muslim Students
Association (MSA) event, where he expressed support for convicted terrorist Sami Al-Arian, calling his
prosecution "politically motivated” should be troubling to westerners.
OSAMA SAEED
WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED FROM THE SCOTTISH EXPERIENCE?
Like Rauf, the envoy of the U.S. State Department and Rashad Hussain, the envoy to the O.I.C, the
Scottish National Party selected Osama Saeed to run in the constituency of Glasgow Central, a decision
which was later endorsed by party leader and Scottish First Minister, Alex Salmond. Mr Saeed, who
previously worked for Mr Salmond, established the Scottish Islamic Foundation (SIF) which has
reportedly received over £400,000 from the Scottish Government, raising questions over how deep the
links go between the two bodies. The Quilliam Foundation, a London-based think tank focusing on
"counter-extremism" highlighted a number of links between Mr Saeed and Islamist extremists
including Yusuf Qaradawi, whom Saeed endorsed as “a man who has worked hard to reconcile Islam
with modern democracy.”
However , the Quilliam Foundation denounces Mr Qaradawi as “justifying wife-beating, the
murder of homosexuals, and suicide bomb attacks on civilians.” Saeed is also accused of providing a
platform for Islamists to indoctrinate Scottish Muslims. The SIF arranged on two occasions for Kemal
Helbawy, the founder of the Muslim Association of Britain, and Alamin Belhai, the head of the Libyan
Muslim Brotherhood, an organization denounced as terrorist by the UN, to lecture young Scottish
Muslims on Islam. The most recent report from the Quilliam foundation on the Scottish Islamic
Foundation was quoted in the Scotsman newspaper on 8 August as saying, “Whilst only a small
proportion will agree with al-Qaeda’s tactics, many will agree with the overall goal of creating a single
‘Islamic state’ which would bring together all Muslims around the world under a single government
and then impose on them a single interpretation of Shariah as state law.” The report continues: “Local
and central government should be wary of engagement with these groups as it risks empowering
proponents of the ideology, if not the methodology, that is behind terrorism.” Murdo Fraser has since
called on 9 August 2010 for Scottish Government funding to the SIF to be suspended until a full
investigation can be undertaken.
Osama Saeed, like Rashad Hussain with president Obama, enjoyed close relations with Scottish
First Minister Alex Salmond for whom he used to work as a researcher and documents Saeed’s
controversial background including calls for an Islamic Caliphate and equivocal stands on terrorism.
Saeed has been a candidate for the Scottish parliament on the ticket of the Scotttish Nationalist Party
(SNP).
According to both Osama Saeed’s facebook page and the organization’s website, Saeed is a member of
the Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow, an organization jointly sponsored by two organizations headed by
“Ground Zero Mosque” project head Fesial Rauf and funded by Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who
has funded numerous projects tied to the Global Muslim Brotherhood.
MUZZAMIL SIDDIQI
Muzzamil Siddiqi, head of the Fiqh Council and the American Society in California. Dr. Abdullah AlQaderi Al-Ahdal from Al-Rawda.net. We have translated from Arabic Al-Ahdal’s notes during his
interview with Muzzamil Siddiqi: “I met with him later in North America - California in Los Angeles at
the home of the Saudi Consul-General Abdul-Majid on 10/11/1405 H. During the interview, He
discusses what he calls “Islamic penetration” with “Blacks” in the U.S. in which Muzzamil explains:
“The reason for low penetration of white Americans with Islam is the whites' fanaticism and sense of
superiority and sovereignty over other nationalities. Unlike blacks who have a need for Islam to excel
over the whites who despise blacks. The whites have a great spiritual vacuum”
http://www.al-rawdah.net/r.php?sub0=allbooks&sub1=r_malysia&p=54
The racial remarks of Muzzamil went unchecked by the interviewer of the Islamic web news Muslim
agency who went on to document Muzzamil’s plan on campus. “I asked him, 'Do you have a plan to
Islamize non-Muslims?' He responded: my job at the university we have work to invite Muslims and
non-Muslims. I taught at the university, and most students are non-Muslims, and I have taught at the
university five years, and converted five students and four hundred non-students.”
The Fiqh Council of which Siddiqi is a member is under the scrutiny of The U.S. government
which accused another Fiqh Council Chairman, Taha Jaber Al-Alwani of maintaining links to terrorist
financiers in Northern Virginia (Recent court documents indicate that Alwani also funded Islamic Jihad
front groups in Tampa). Another former trustee of the Fiqh Council, Abdurrahman Alamoudi, now
serving a 23-year prison sentence, has confessed to his part in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Crown
Prince, and was recently named by the Treasury Department as having been a financier for al Qaeda.
In 1998, Fiqh Council member Sheikh Muhammad al-Hanooti delivered a speech calling for jihad
against the U.S. and Britain, saying that "Allah will curse the Americans and British" and "the curse of
Allah will become true on the infidel Jews and on the tyrannical Americans."
To add to his statements in Arabic, in a 1995 speech reported by the Kansas City Star, Siddiqi
enthusiastically praised suicide bombers: "Those who die on the part of justice are alive, and their place
is with the Lord, and they receive the highest position, because this is the highest honor."
Al-Ahdal himself is no moderate; we examined what he writes in Arabic from articles that are littered
with descriptions of Americans as “Zionists” and “conspiratorial” “crusaders.” Under “For Your Honor
O Mujahideen” his goals for the U.S. Are described: “The opportunity has come to manage the
American crusaders and the dispersed bunch of Zionist Jews implementing their old conspiracy plans
to destroy Islam everywhere” and “The American Constitution has a terroristic slant that needs to be
destroyed by warplanes and intercontinental ballistic missiles until their strands break and their seeds
disperse.” He was sent by the Islamic University in Medina by Abdul Muhsin bin Hamad bin Abad to
report on the Muslim community of North America to attend the Islamic Conference in Indianapolis.
http://www.al-rawdah.net/r.php?sub0=allbooks&sub1=1&p=11&key=%C3%E3%D1%ED%DF%C7
Al-Ahdal first documents the misery of Muslims in America. He sites the story of a Nigerian Muslim
woman who “married an American Christian and brought him 4 children which she escaped with to
rescue her children from the filth corrupt Christian faith”.
ZAID SHAKER
Another signatory to “A Common Word” and a key member of the Fiqh Council and lecturerScholar-in-Residence for the Zaytuna Institute. In the Arabic, Zaid Shaker shares his story how he
changed his name from Ricky Mitchell and converted to Islam during his service in the United States
Air Force during 1977. Zaid studied Islam in Syria and Morocco and served as the Imam of the
Connecticut Mosque in 1988. In 1994, he expressed his dream and goal in Arabic: “To make the United
States of America an Islamic state governed by Islamic Sharia law which must be accomplished
through persuasion and non-violent means." (http://www.islamstory.com)
Saker expresses his hatred of the U.S military brass. Using twisted logic Shaker's condemnation of
terrorism is not unconditional; his condemnation of Nidal Malik Hasan’s Fort Hood Massacre in reality
is blaming the U.S. “I firmly believe there is no legitimate reason for the deaths of the hundreds of
thousands of Iraqi and Afghani civilians who have perished as a result of those two conflicts. Even
though I disagree with the continued prosecution of those wars, and even though I believe that the US
war machine is the single greatest threat to world peace.”

HAMZA YOUSUF HANSON
A Rabid Racist
Hamza’s support for Feisal Abdul Rauf was seen on 60 minutes and several meetings with Rauf
recorded on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gh9wLn01obo&p=51DDE6C43A1726F1&playnext=1&index=36
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au6VCV03ORU
During his speech for the 1995 Islamic Society of North America’s annual national convention Hamza
Yusuf Hanson identified Judaism as “a most racist religion”:
“The Jews would have us believe that God has this bias to this little small tribe in the Middle of the
Sinai desert and all the rest of humanity is just rubbish. I mean that this is the basic doctrine of the
Jewish religion and that’s why it is a most racist religion.”
On September 9, 2001, two days before 9/11, Hanson hollered in Los Angeles, “This country
(America) unfortunately has a great, a great tribulation coming to it. And much of it is already here, yet
people are too illiterate to read the writing on the wall....Every Muslim who is honest would say, 'I
would like to see America become a Muslim country.'"
Daniel Pipes, an authority on Radical Islam, calls Hanson “a master of deceit”. Mr. Pipes posed a set of
questions for Hanson to answer concerning Islamic radicalization. A test which determines if a Muslim
is radical or moderate. Hanson refused to even take the test, and later announced; “I took that test and I
failed. And I want to say to all of you, I hope you fail that test too.”
Hanson reportedly delivered a speech titled “Jihad is the Only Way” to the Islamic Circle of North
America (ICNA), which is an arm of the radical organization Jamaat-i-Islami in Pakistan.
LOUAY SAFI
HIS INFILTRATION OF FORT HOOD AND HIS CALL FOR JIHAD
U.S. Defense Department has brought Louay Safi to Fort Hood as an instructor and he has been
lecturing on Islam to our troops in Fort Hood who are about to deploy to Afghanistan. Safi is a top
official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and served as research director at the
International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).
Safi is a Syrian-born author who advocates Muslim American rights through his directorship of
ISNA's Leadership Development Center. He advocates direct talks between Washington and Iran's
leaders. He has spoken out against various law enforcement raids on Islamic centers. In a 2003
publication, "Peace and the Limits of War," Safi wrote, "The war against the apostates [non-believers of
Islam] is carried out not to force them to accept Islam, but to enforce the Islamic law and maintain
order."
He also wrote, "It is up to the Muslim leadership to assess the situation and weigh the
circumstances as well as the capacity of the Muslim community before deciding the appropriate type of
jihad. At one stage, Muslims may find that jihad, through persuasion or peaceful resistance, is the best
and most effective method to achieve just peace." [ACM: Implicitly, this concedes there is a time for
violent jihad, too.]
At ISNA's annual convention in Washington in July, one speaker,
Imam Warith Deen Umar, criticized Obama for having two Jewish people — Rahm Emanuel and
David Axelrod — in the White House. "Why do this small number of people have control of the
world?" he said, according to a IPT transcript. He said the Holocaust was punishment for Jews
"because they were serially disobedient to Allah."
[Steven] Emerson's group [the Investigative Project on Terrorism] collected literature at the
convention approved for distribution by ISNA. It said the pamphlets and books featured "numerous
attempts to portray U.S. prosecution of terrorists and terror supporters as anti-Muslim bigotry; dramatic
revisionist history that denied attacks by Arab nations and Palestinian terrorists against Israel; antiSemitic tracts and hyperbolic rants about a genocide and holocaust of Palestinians."
Asked if the
FBI should sever ties with ISNA, Emerson said, "ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator. It's a Muslim
Brotherhood group. I think in terms of legitimacy there should be certain expectations of what the
group says publicly. If it continues to espouse jihad and anti-Semitism, I think it nullifies it right to
have the FBI recognize it."
I looked into Safi throughout the Arabic websites. He aspires for change in the Muslim societies.
The crux of this change is to introduce modernization of thought by Muslims worldwide, not to adapt
western style secularism but to use it in order to create an Islamic state. Translation from the Arabic of
Luay Safi’s views proves that Safi supports the establishment of Sharia law and a single Islamic Nation
(Umma) unit worldwide:
The application of Shariah needs to build a public consensus and develop awareness and commitment
to Islam before moving to the imposition of Sharia law. This vision is based - at the net - on two ideas:
First: The relationship between persons is to gain of a goal, …. 2 - The political leadership representing
the general purposes and common interests for the general public and is working to achieve them.
…the emergence of the nation into existence, in the sense that the establishment of an Islamic state
requires the emergence of a society committed to the principle and Islamists standard, as it requires the
actual stability of the nation's founding of the state carrying the aspirations of the Muslim community.
Accordingly, if the Islamic state is conditional on the commitment of the nation and selected prior to
the Islamic regime approach to life, talking about the conditionality of the application of sharia law in
this State the clause itself is useless and meaningless, but may suggest the support of the argument
raised by some Muslim thinkers, namely, the gradual introduction of sharia in Muslim countries in
modern times, compared to the Covenant Prophet. … Mr. Safi said that “the invitation is to establish an
Islamic state in this era should proceed from the nation's call to exercise their right to political
management of their affairs and issues”, which will be based upon later application of the provisions of
legitimacy, as part of the belief of the nation, not by letting the nation's political choice.
Louay Safi’s definition of an Islamic state is the concept presented by Ibn Khaldun he calls “the
right approach to the definition of an Islamic state.” It ended with the following definition: "the Islamic
State - is - the nation's power structures that guide political action and defined in accordance with the
principles of Islamic political system.” (Louay Safi, Religion and Politics pp.121) It’s not about living
under a secular government, but how to use those governments as a stepping stone in order to
implement Sharia.
In a 2003 publication - we translated from his Arabic book "Peace and the Limits of War" - Safi
wrote, "The war against the apostates [non-believers of Islam] is carried out not to force them to accept
Islam, but to enforce the Islamic law and maintain order."
He also wrote, "It is up to the Muslim
leadership to assess the situation and weigh the circumstances as well as the capacity of the Muslim
community before deciding the appropriate type of jihad. At one stage, Muslims may find that jihad,
through persuasion or peaceful resistance, is the best and most effective method to achieve just peace."
SEYYED HOSSEIN NASR
THE GREATEST CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC JURIST
Another signatory of the peace initiative with Christians “A Common Word” and who is in charge of
the Islamic studies department at George Washington University. We translated from the Arabic website
Qantara.de,
http://ar.qantara.de/webcom/show_article.php/_c-471/_nr-458/i.html
Dialogue with The Muslim World, Nasr is touted as “All the Islamic movements in Iran, including the
religious reformers considered Seyyed Hossein Nasr as the greatest contemporary Islamic jurist. This
conclusion was thanks to his attack on the religious reformers and his stand for a fundamentalist
interpretation of the Koran.”
It was Nasr’s stand against reformation that granted him his status. This attack on religious
reformation did not come from overseas, but from within the United States: “The strike against the
reformers did not come from the traditional religious Muslim circles as expected, but from a thinker
who graduated from Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology who was a
researcher in Islamic science and enjoys a high status within Western academic circles that has no equal
by any other Iranian scholar.” He stated “the reconciliation between Islam and modernity is nothing
more but to empty Islam from its contents.”
Nasr explains that he does support a reconciliation of modernity with Islam and then reverse it
completely: “but this does not mean Islam is reconcilable with modernity” that “one of the main goals
of the Quran is to “find an Islamic society that prepares humanity to live under an Islamic government
with its foundation stemming from Islamic Sharia laws in accordance to the Quran and the life (Sunna)
of the glorified prophet.”
In Al-Jazeera http://search.suhuf.net.sa/magazine/10122002/zj5.htm
Nasr explains away Islamic extremism as such: “the reason for extremism is that a person is capsulated
into himself as a turtle when he sees his [Muslim] identity is threatened when people are despaired and
loose hope when they see what happens in Chechnya, Palestine and Kashmir.”
THE TROJAN HORSE RIDING THE BACKS OF LIBERAL DONKEYS
(Excerpts taken from For God or For Tyranny)
Many Americans think that the liberals agree with the Islamists because they are “useful idiots” or
“naïve”.
Hardly. It’s not naiveté or lack of education thereof; Islam has “Al-Ishtirakiya Al-Islamiya” (Islamic
socialism); that tickles the ears of many liberals. In Islam, life does not begin at the moment of
conception; that tickles the ears of abortionists. Islam has “Hima” (protection of environment); that
tickles the ears of Al-Gore who praised Islamic environmentalism. The Big Bang is also claimed to be
in the Quran; this tickles the ears of the evolutionists. It would take volumes to cover the works of
Islamic visiting scholars and their accomplishments in American society.
Al Gore praises Islamic environmentalism: “The central concepts of Islam taught by the Qur’ân —
Tawheed (unity), khalifa (trusteeship), akharah (accountability)—also serve as the pillars of the Islamic
environmental ethic. The earth is the sacred creation of Allah.” 1
So where did Al Gore get this? We tracked it through investigating Muslim works. World renown
environmentalist Al Gore swallowed Islamic environmentalism hook, line, and sinker from Dr.
Abdullah Omar Naseef, secretary general of the Muslim World League during the Muslim declaration
on Nature, 1986, who wrote: “So unity, trusteeship and accountability, that is tawhid, khalifah and
akhirah, the three central concepts of Islam, are also the pillars of the environmental ethics of Islam.
They constitute the basic values taught by the Qur'an. It is these values which led Muhammad, (peace
be upon him), the Prophet of Islam, to say: 'Whosoever plants a tree and diligently looks after it until it
matures and bears fruit is rewarded', … Environmental consciousness is born when such values are
adopted and become an intrinsic part of our mental and physical make-up.”
Even major environmentalist and population control fanatic, Harvard professor Peter Singer who
champions infanticide and euthanasia in the name of saving the environment, romanticizes Islam as an
environmental remedy: "Muslims clearly understand nonhuman animals to have souls." 2 Muhammad,
according to Singer, was also an environmental hero, a man who "compared the doing of good or bad
deeds to other animals to similar acts done to humans." 3
On the Koran, Singer writes that "Qur'an 17:44 notes that nonhuman animals and the rest of nature are
in continuous praise of Allah, although humans may not be able to understand this."4
Singer advocates that America should contribute more to world poverty saying that "America is taking
far more than our fair share;" 5 and that population growth will ruin the environment. Singer in all his
writing views the Bible as a foe. 6
In an article titled Heavy Petting Singer comments: “In the Judeo-Christian tradition—less so in the
east—we have always seen ourselves as distinct from animals, and imagined that a wide, unbridgeable
gulf separates us from them. Humans alone are made in the image of God. Only human beings have an
immortal soul.” In his work A Companion to Ethics it reads: “Christian ethics is intolerant and breathes
intolerance.”
Islam also has many attributes comparable with environmentalism. Muhammad commanded his
followers to care for the earth "Even when the Day of Judgment comes” that “if any one has a palmshoot in hand, he should plant it." Muhammad established himas (environmental laws) in Arabia.
Muslim scholars for years have been courting Western educators by adapting Islam making it palatable
to evolutionists. B.A. Masri writes that himas were established by Muhammad "some 14 centuries ago,
and covers not only forests but also wildlife. According to these laws, certain areas, called haram or
hima, are set aside and protected. This code of ecological conservation has its origins in the life and
sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. One of the latter, reported by Bukhari and Muslim, the most
reliable compilers of Muhammad’s deeds, states that, ‘Whoever plants a tree and looks after it with
care, until it matures and becomes productive, will be rewarded in the Hereafter.’"
Even ‘survival of the fittest’ has become a common acceptance by Muslims. One Muslim professor
explains: “In the [Muslim] students’ bridge models, microevolution and the concept of ‘the survival of
the fittest’ appeared on the accepted side of the equation. Students reasoned that it is impossible to deny
the logic and empirical backing of these concepts. They also connected microevolution to theistic
evolution, the idea that God has guided the adjustments in his creatures. Several students accepted the
Big Bang and believed that the Qur’an contains references to both the Big Bang and evolution theory.”
7 Dr Khalid Anees, president of the Islamic Society of Britain confirms: “There is no contradiction
between what is revealed in the Koran and natural selection and survival of the fittest.” 8
Evolution is not a new discovery; Muslims worldwide claim that Allah revealed it in the Qur’ân. In
promoting Theistic Evolution, Muslim academicians seek to gain merit with modern western thinkers
that Islam has contributed so much in explaining the origin of the universe: “The universe, then, is a
more complex and impressive creation than mankind himself. Modern scientific findings support the
Big Bang Theory, which proposes that the universe took shape out of nothingness after a massive
explosion, and that particles resulting from this blast came together to form planets, stars and entire
galaxies. Similar reference is made in the Qur'an: ‘Do the Unbelievers not see that the heavens and the
earth were joined together, before We clove them asunder?’ (Qur'an 21:30); and, "Then He turned to the
heaven when it was smoke: He said to it and to the earth: 'Come together, willingly or unwillingly.'
They said, 'We do come together, in willing obedience.’ (Qur'an 41:11)”
Qur’ân 21:30 and 41:11 is a major argument by so many Muslim scholars, academics and apologists
fighting for Islam and science to satisfy modern audiences and argue for the miracle of the Qur’ân .
Islam in its infant stage is a socialistic system. Muslims use many examples when Islam immigrated to
Medina and shared the wealth between Al-Muhajirun (immigrants) and the Ansar (supporters). Pakistan
under the rule of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto established a social government. Today, the PPP, under the
guidance of Asif Ali Zaradi advocates a system based on Islamic socialism. Moammar Gadhafi of
Libya established Islamic socialist state in 1969. Even the Iranian constitution contains collectivist
views.
In Al-Takaful Al-Ijtimai And Islamic Socialism, Sami Hanna explains, “the common themes among
the revolutionary regimes in Egypt, Syria and Iraq, may be traced back to the days of the Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) himself and his successors. This concept was expressed one way or another by the
single call for social justice among the Muslims. But perhaps the most overt call came from Abu Dharr
al-Ghifari who knew the Prophet and witnessed the remarkable social changes which took place in the
new Muslim empire, especially during Uthman's reign when Abu Dharr issued his warning against the
accumulation of wealth in the hands of the few whom the Caliph had appointed to rule the conquered
regions.
Jamal al-Din al-Afghani, the Muslim theologian, philosopher and political leader, has examined
Western socialism and suggested that Islamic socialism ishtirakiyya is far better.
Mustafa al-Sibai whose book Ishtirakiyyat al-Islam (Islamic Socialism) could be considered the most
widely acclaimed by Egyptian authorities. He quotes from the Qur’ân: "The believers are brethren" (S.
49: IO), and continues: To declare brotherhood among the individuals of any society necessitates altakaful among them, not only in eating, drinking and bodily needs but also in every other necessity of
life. The acknowledgment of brotherhood between two persons is an acknowledgment of al-takaful and
al-tadamun (solidarity) between them in sentiments and feelings, in demands and needs, and in status
and dignity. This is the truth of al-takaful al-ijtimai in Islamic socialism.”
Islamic socialism, like the old Soviet Communism, wants a universal utopia in which the poor ‘havenots’ clean the coffers of the rich ‘haves’—Islam’s universal Ummah in which dissident Jews and
Christian are taxed with Jizzya by the Muslim-have-nots. After the Bolsheviks took over Russia,
Vladimir Lenin stole all of the land owned by the church "for the benefit of the community" and was
"to be distributed in equal shares." The private ownership of land was to be "abolished forever." 9
Muslims conquered Spain and Church property came under the control of the Ummah and thus
Christians were forced to comply with the Pact of Umar that guaranteed the Islamic enforcement over
Christian lands. In the document it reads: "We shall not build, in our cities or in their neighborhood,
new monasteries, Churches, convents, or monks' cells, nor shall we repair, by day or by night, such of
them as fall in ruins or are situated in the quarters of the Muslims" 10
The Islamic philosopher Said Qutb wrote of capitalism: "the exploitation of individuals and nations due
to greed for wealth and imperialism under the capitalist systems are but a corollary of rebellion against
God's authority...Look at this capitalism with its monopolies, its usury and whatever else is unjust in it;
at this individual freedom, devoid of human sympathy and responsibility for relatives except under the
force of law..." 11
Qaradawi, the world renown Muslim scholar who regularly gets a red carpet welcoming by leftist
European leaders, said that capitalism "is based on usury and securities rather than commodities in
markets, [it] shows us that it is undergoing a crisis and that our integrated Islamic philosophy—if
properly understood and applied — can replace the Western capitalism." 12
