PREPOSITION
Preposition definition: a word that shows
the relationship of a noun or a pronoun to
some other word in the sentence.
Prepositions are "little words" that occur in
large structures called Prepositional Phrases.
PREPOSITIONS
Each Prepositional Phrase consists of a
preposition plus its object (a noun or
pronoun). This is called the Object of the
Preposition.
Therefore, a Prepositional Phrase begins with a
Preposition and ends with a noun or pronoun

Prepositional Phrases will not be the
subject or verb of the sentence.
Therefore, you can help yourself to find the
Subject and Verb of a sentence by crossing
out the Prepositional Phrases.
