An exciting opportunity has arose for a new role within our Group to facilitate our
European growth. We are recruiting for a European Marketing Director to join the
team.
Ultima Displays was founded in 1999 and has established itself as the leading UKbased manufacturer and supplier of portable presentation and display equipment.

represent one of the largest manufacturing and distribution groups in the display and

The Role
Reporting into the Managing Director as the European Marketing Director you will be
responsible for creating, developing and driving the strategic and tactical marketing
strategy to capitalise on market opportunities and generate demand across Europe.
You will lead and empower the current marketing teams to execute implementation of
the marketing strategy across Europe. You will be UK based with monthly European
travel to 3 countries and be responsible for a team of 3 within the UK and 4 direct
reports in Europe.
Responsibilities
 Develop and deliver a European marketing strategy linked to the Sales
strategy.
 Lead the strategic direction for internal and external marketing campaigns.
 Contribute to overall business strategy and company growth.
 Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and
implement marketing plan alterations.
 Identify market requirements for current and future products. Design and
implement a company-wide plan to push product, working with all
departments for its execution.
 Explore and exploit the website side of the business.
 Lead and understand the skills of the marketing team in each Country and
make best use of resources around the business, building an effective team
of marketers.
 Deliver all marketing activity to agreed budget.
 Develop a company-wide communication campaign that supports the people
strategy.
 Deliver frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available
media.

Key Skills and Qualifications
 Professional chartered marketer (CIM).
 Degree in related field.
 Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
 Experience gained in a European environment would be extremely beneficial.
 Strong understanding of all marketing principles and disciplines.
 Excellent commercial, product and pricing understanding.
 A Marketer who uses business intelligence linked to a CRM system and has
advanced Microsoft office skills.
 Extremely structured but inspired Manager with the ability to lead and
motivate a team to deliver results.
 Internal and external relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
 Team player who upholds the company values.
 Open to cultural differences and capable of using them as strengths.
 Passionate and energetic individual with the ability to own and direct the
marketing function and strategy.
