2015 United Group Advertising Plan
Thank you for your interest in advertising in United Connects, the quarterly news & marketing
magazine of The United Group® (TUG). The purpose of United Connects magazine is to share
information among our Member Stockholders and Preferred Suppliers, including company profiles and
promoting Supplier products and services. The underlying goal of United Connects is to help increase
your sales to Member Stockholders, which then increases Members’ marketing allowances.
United Connects is mailed four (4) times a year to two or more contacts at each Member and Supplier
company — over 400 independent distributors and more than 170 vendors. Each issue is posted in a
screen-viewable format (PDF) on TUG’s website, making it available to search engine traffic and for
Members and Suppliers to share with customers and sales teams ― effectively extending your
advertising dollars with a link to your company website. TUG also distributes United Connects to
membership prospects, to editors of the national trade press, and at industry trade shows
(http://unitedgroup.com/united-connects).
► All Preferred Suppliers who purchase print advertising in United Connects magazine also receive
FREE quarterly website ads which run on both the public and Member-secure portals of the website.

1. From the list that follows, choose the ad that best suits your budget and needs.
2. Contact Sarah Brodie for an advertising contract.
3. Submit final digital ad file (press-ready jpeg or PDF) to Sarah by deadline and include the web
page link that will be embedded in your ad.*
*Please email files 10MB or less to [email protected]. Larger files may be uploaded to your ftp server for
download or written to CD and mailed to Sarah Brodie.

Private-Square Ad

Placement: Side navigation bar of secure side of website (used exclusively by United Group Members)
Advertisers may designate a clickthrough link for website ads, and each ad may have a different link. Please
indicate link when submitting ad artwork in jpg or gif format.
Ads will run on TUG website for the quarter following magazine publication. For example, web ads submitted
with print ad for Issue 1 will run from during the 2nd quarter, April 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015.

Payment is due in full within 30 days of the invoice date and should be remitted to: Jeff Albritton, The

options include company check, purchase order and credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express
