In April of this year, ASO was awarded TOPCO’s 2015 supplier of the year for the health & beauty care category. We are currently seeking a Marketing Associate working out of our global headquarters in Sarasota, FL. ASO’s Marketing Associate position will offer direct, hands-on entry level marketing experience working with private label consumer packaged goods products within first-aid/wound care, respiratory, and foot care categories sold in all major retail channels – mass, food, drug, dollar, club and online. You’ll actively learn by carrying out real-life marketing projects including new product introductions, market research, and commercialization activities. Key Responsibilities: New Product Development – supports product development activities carrying out a wide range of tasks through the product development cycle (stage gate process). Market Research – Uses IRI and Neilson data to help define category insights in addition to creating competitive landscape reporting. Product Lifecycle Management – Coordinates product transitions with the support of Forecast Analysts. Commercialization – will provide support for world class retailers (Walmart, Target, CVS, Dollar General etc.,) including mock ups, sample requests, routing customer pricing worksheets, coordination of 3rd party testing, and other general customer administrative support. Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or other related field required. Additional coursework or seminars in Project Management a plus. Skills & Abilities Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook required / Sales Database Systems, ERP knowledge a plus), hold superb written and verbal communication skills along with being comfortable presenting in front of groups as required. Must able to multi-task handle multiple functions concurrently. Must be detail oriented, organized and have a positive attitude. Able to work under pressure. Possess initiative, common sense and analytical/problem-solving skills. Able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams (a team player).
