He or she will play a key role in ensuring our communications are both influential and informative for the full range of our stakeholders, taking responsibility for monitoring practices and measuring success. The MC Officer will co-develop and manage the organisation-wide marketing and communication strategies across the entire spectrum of communication disciplines including: media and public relations, celebrity management, internal communications, brand marketing, advertising, marketing, new media and production of materials: Job Description Key Responsibilities will include: Lead on copywriting for all marketing communications and activities Manage the design, production and printing of promotional literature Support development of brand materials and act as brand guardian - ensuring the organisation, all staff and external parties follow brand guidelines Develop, manage, update, write content for website and newsletters Support the implementation of a social media strategy and maintain social media accounts Liaise with volunteers, staff and stakeholders, ensuring good communication through the projects and staff are well briefed on key communication issues Produce marketing plans for campaigns Increase the organisation’s profile and reputation across all media, and with influencers and organisations Develop key messages, lead on creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent language and terminology across all media Support the charity’s fundraising, services, education and public affairs activities Oversee the management of a case study database Prepare and monitor annual communications budget Report on and analyse all aspects of communications Manage any relevant volunteers and interns Attend meetings of the Management Committee and other committees/meetings as required Participate in training and supervision arrangements as required To contribute to and foster team spirit in the CHILYPEP Team Carry out other duties, as negotiated with the Managing Director, which do not change the nature of the job The post-holder will be required to undergo a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check.
