Marketing Administrator Department: Marketing Reports to: Head of Marketing Salary (Grade/Point/Annual/Pro rata): Grade 3 Responsible for: N/A Hours per week/FTE: 36.25 hours Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday. 8.45 am – 5pm (one hour lunch) Job Purpose/Summary: To ensure the provision of proficient administrative support to the Marketing Team, specifically in relation to delivering rebrand and website projects through the day to day administration and project. Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks: This administrative post requires flexibility, responsiveness and work planning. Specific responsibilities and priorities will change in the context of strategic and departmental priorities. The main responsibility will be to provide effective support to the Marketing Team throughout the delivery of two major projects: college rebranding and new website development. The job involves daily contact with senior staff and students, as well as members of the public and external stakeholders Key Tasks 1. Assist in the implementation of the branding and website projects. 2. Implement, monitor and manage specific systems to support the efficient management of administrative procedures within the Marketing Team. 3. To provide general administrative support to the marketing area, including maintaining, reviewing and developing office systems, databases and records, including the compiling data and information for PR, marketing and student recruitment purposes. Specific project-based administration and organisation of plans and calendars. 4. Assist in the administration of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) work. 5. Monitoring and updating digital platforms such as social media networks with relevant high quality content. 6. Coordinate travel and other events arrangements for staff and student ambassadors. 7. Assist with development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. 8. To deal with enquiries and provide accurate responses. 9. To assist with the development of advertisements and marketing campaigns, creating targeted material and monitoring success. 10. To support the work of Marketing Officers by sourcing/developing a library of images, video content, and student, alumni and staff profiles, along with a bank of copy for use across a wide range of media and publications to reflect course, department and college USPs (unique selling points). 11. To assist with organising and setting up recruitment events and to represent the college at such events. These may be on or off site. 12. Stock control, management and ordering of resources and branded items, including liaison with print, design and digital agencies. 13. Undertake meeting administration where necessary - prepare and disseminate papers, agenda and minutes, and book rooms where necessary for meetings. 14. Liaise with other educational establishments and external stakeholders. 15. Champion and maintain an efficient and pleasant working environment within the office and wider college environment. 16. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the line manager. Requirement: Essential: Desirable: Education, Training and Qualifications GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. Educated to A level or equivalent. Skills and Knowledge Excellent written and verbal Excellent interpersonal communication Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Exceptional organisational skills Previous administration experience. Degree in relevant area Professional marketing or communications qualification.
