CAMP's Marketing Awards
In 2015, CAMP launched its inaugural awards, and we were thrilled to award excellence
to some of Canada’s leading corporate, SME, agency and not for profit marketers,
including Maple Leaf Sports Entertainment, CIBC Run for the Cure, Princess Margaret
Cancer Foundation, and Proximity/BBDO. Our 2015 Awards Gala attracted some of the
leading talent in our industry, and we are continuing with our 2016 Awards Gala.
For 2016, CAMP is pleased to announce its Awards Gala in collaboration with the Direct
Marketing Association of Canada (DMAC) which brings a bigger exposure to the event
sponsors in reaching to mid-size marketing agencies and over 1,000 of DMAC members.
Our Gala will follow the conference to keep the spirit of innovation and creativity well into

Our Story
As marketers, storytelling is part of our DNA. It’s the way we
communicate the compelling reasons individuals would want to
align with our organization and ourselves. At CAMP, we recognize
this and wanted to share a bit of the motivation behind our story.
A Vision...
CAMP – the word brings back nostalgic memories of a time gone by, a special
point in our development. Whether we grew up in the city, the suburbs, or the
country, going to camp was special. Be it a retreat in the woods, a session in
school, or one of the many programs available within our communities, these
places provided us with unique learning experiences. So too is our commitment at
CAMP. We are a group of leaders past, present and future striving to collaborate,
share stories, and improve our knowledge to elevate the profession and positively
impact the Canadian market.
About Us
The Canadian Association of Marketing Professionals (CAMP) is a not-for-profit
organization dedicated to the evolution of the marketing profession and its related
functions. We are a community of leaders, represented by members from a
variety of industries across Canada.
We are stewards of the trade; our
commitment of open collaboration, education and sharing will shape marketers to
become strong contributing members to every organization, at every level within
their hierarchy and throughout the Canadian business landscape.
Our members represent the best of what the marketing profession has to offer
and as such they are committed to us as we are committed to ensuring they
remain market leaders.
