Universal Lending Corporation Job Description Job Title: Incumbent: Department: Reports To: FLSA Status: Prepared Date: Work Location: Social Media Marketing Specialist Marketing Marketing Director Non-Exempt (Base + Commission) 7/22/2015 Corporate Office OVERVIEW The Social Media Marketing Specialist (SMMS) will help to maximize the usage of social media by ULC and its sales staff. The SMMS will work with the Marketing Director to develop and execute social media marketing strategies to increase ULC brand awareness through constant research, networking and staying abreast of market trends. The SMMS helps develop engaging and exciting content that will help drive market growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Perform regular postings on ULC sites and assist Sales, as needed. Contribute 1-2 posts daily to corporate blog. Train business units on social media and its capabilities. Maintain Hubspot – inbound marketing and registration pages. Work with Marketing Director to create new advertising campaigns on social media/online to generate sales. Track Customers through Pipeline- ensure they transfer from Hubspot to LO CRM Liaison with Compliance regarding social media Increase overall exposure of the company though search engine optimization (SEO) and by finding ways to use these keywords in marketing strategies Monitor emerging social media tools to see how they can be incorporated into a company's business, marketing and public relation strategies Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), success metrics and reporting for all social media platforms used, in addition to Hubspot. Responsible for quarterly reporting, auditing and escalation to management when required, and updating management on a regular basis. Help facilitate external and internal examinations and their resolution, as needed. Escalate any observed online complaints per the ULC Consumer Complaint Management policy and procedure. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Be part of the team that supports roll out of Vantage VIP Participate in Marketing Team collaboration, as needed Attend events in order to post about them on Social Media Assist with recruiting using Social Media Listen on Social Media to gain insight for improving ULC marketing and creating opportunities based on need Manage Leadership social media Back up to CRM, Marketing, Sales Presentation, and Website Portals Other duties/responsibilities, as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communications or Marketing preferred or commensurate work experience. Computer skills and knowledge of hardware and software required. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) applications SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To perform this job effectively, the incumbent must possess the following competencies: History of self-direction, motivation and innovation Creative with a unique ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively Ability to thrive in a fast-paced online environment Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and web-based applications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media and other online data Strong sales skills Ability to train and present in front of large and small groups Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, Digg, YouTube, Pinterest, and more Knowledge of social media best practices Experience with mortgage marketing and advertising preferred Ability to organize and manage large amounts of information and documentation Ability to focus on attention to detail and key in on discrepancies Ability to handle large workloads while meeting established deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner. Familiarity with mortgage related laws is a plus - SAFE ACT, UDAAP, TILA, RESPA, FTC, GLB, FFIEC, ECOA and CFPB rules and regulations.
