To coordinate the delivery of all marketing initiatives on time and in line with approved budgets. To increase RetireAustralia and village brand awareness by the visual use of the company and village logos, consistent imagery and ensuring all marketing collateral is line with the company branding. To assist the Marketing Manager with marketing strategy development and analysis of marketing campaigns and execution to inform ongoing improvement To establish and maintain effective working relationships with all RetireAustralia employees. To assist the sales team in achieving set targets. Reporting And Team Relationships This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The holder of the position collaborates with and delegates work to other members of the marketing team. The holder of the position will also form working relationships with the General Manager Sales and Marketing, individual village managers, sales consultants and promotions staff to understand their marketing requirements. Liaise with external service providers engaged by RetireAustralia. All staff and management function as a team with an emphasis on sharing the decision making responsibilities with the General Manager Sales and Marketing. This is essential to the overall success of the villages. RetireAustralia Corporate – Marketing – Marketing Coordinator – Revised 150916 2 Major Challenges Collaborate with, and delegate work to, other members of the marketing team to generate creative and effective marketing collateral to raise the company’s profile and generate consistent enquiry and sales. Assist in the current ongoing evolution of the RetireAustralia and village brands to ensure that we are regarded as the most prominent brands in the industry. Review competitor marketing material and approaches to ensure that RetireAustralia’s material remains market leading. Maintain a safe working environment by managing all safety issues associated with the Company activities to the highest standards and ensure that all HS&E policies and procedures are adhered to. RetireAustralia Corporate – Marketing – Marketing Coordinator – Revised 150916 3 Part B: Position Description – Marketing Coordinator Performance Standards Key Result Areas 1. Marketing of individual villas for sale Maintain a knowledge of current available and future stock and coordinate marketing campaigns to suit. Price lists, web listings and floor plans – ensure all material is being supplied to the Marketing Assistant weekly as required. Proof listings to ensure brand consistency, correct information and pricing. Follow up to ensure that relevant data has been entered into Navision. Monitor the success of campaigns and events Analyse and understand the outcomes of campaigns and events to constantly improve future campaigns 2. Call to action marketing Coordinate marketing for sales events in line with the marketing calendar or as requested by the Marketing Manager. This may include but is not limited to the coordination of dates with village and sales staff, graphic design and copywriting of printed and digital material, database communication including letters, email blasts, ensuring all material has been proofed by relevant parties for accuracy, production of printed material and distribution of printed and digital material. Ensure that electronic and hard copies of all collateral are filed. Ensure all marketing is in line with marketing budgets. 3. Signage Identify signage to be updated through discussion with village and sales staff and site visits. Coordinate production of new signage which may include, but is not limited to coordination of quotes and dimensions through sign companies, graphic design and copywriting of artwork ensuring all material has been proofed be relevant parties for accuracy, installation of signage. 4. Generic marketing collateral Discuss requirements with sales staff including re-prints and updates of existing printed material. Coordinate the production of new material. This may include but is not limited to coordination of graphic design and copywriting, ensuring all material has been proofed by relevant parties for accuracy, production of printed material and distribution of printed material. 5. Media releases Ensure all material is being supplied to the Copywriter as required. Review all material and ensure all material has been proofed by relevant parties for accuracy. 6. Social media monitoring Review posts and comments on our social media pages. Follow up with village staff to ensure weekly posts are occurring on all villages pages. Ongoing communication with sales and village staff Facilitate a one hour marketing meeting for each village monthly. Update agendas/previous minutes with work to be completed and distribute minutes. Follow up to ensure that work has been done as per minutes. 9. General Ensure that electronic and hard copies of all collateral are filed. Ensure all marketing is in line with marketing budgets. Continually liaise with the marketing team to understand the priority and timeframes of deadlines. Share/present ideas and develop concepts in partnership with the marketing team. Maintain up to date knowledge of our portfolio and target market. Be available to travel to all retirement villages within the portfolio to assist with marketing initiatives. Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor marketing material. Maintain and efficiently manage company office and equipment. Perform any other duties we may direct or advise from time to time. 10. Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications Technical and Business Skills and Competencies Personal Competencies Highly developed visual, verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, along with Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Attention to detail. Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
