It is widely accepted that North and South America were settled by the crossing of the
Bering Land Bridge during the last ice age. It is also widely accepted that Columbus’
voyages began a radical revolution—the mixing of cultures and new conquest of the
Americas.
 Research 2 theories that propose other possible exploration and settlement of the
Americas that occurred ;between these two events.
 Write a solid, “beefy,” and well edited paragraph explaining the two theories. Cite
specific evidence and rate the reliability of the evidence.
 Include at least two sources that you used.
