COURSE DESCRIPTION It is an introductory course where students get an integral knowledge on genetics – principles of heredity and principles of molecular genetics, population genetics 2.1. Course and genetic engineering. The special attention is given to practical course where objectives students get the basic skills in genetic crossing using various model organisms like fruit fly, Arabidopsis, bacteria through small projects using classical and molecular techniques. 2.2.
