Overview: Ivan Pavlov discovered Classical Conditioning which is a
form of learning through association.. The central rule to classical
conditioning is that the unconditioned stimulus reflexively causes the
unconditioned response. For example touching a hot stovetop (UCS)
causes us to pull our hand back (UCR).
The use of Classical Conditioning in advertising and marketing may
not be as obvious as the dog and food example, but the same
principles apply. Advertisers will display their product and will try to
associate it with some sort of feeling or emotion.
Task: Complete the following chart while looking up ads on youtube or the internet. Minimum of 3. Add the link
under the description of the advertisement and then proceed with your interpretation as well as your identification
of the classical conditioning principles. Input all groups members and email to [email protected]
