Marketing Manager
Sandbox Suites is an established coworking space with four Bay Area locations. We’re looking for a superstar
Marketing Manager to help take our company to the next level. We’re looking for someone who’s smart,
responsible, and well-connected to the local startup community to head our social media, partnerships,
advertising and events efforts. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about entrepreneurship,
enjoys meeting and networking with cool startups and understands the value of coworking.
The Marketing Manager would act as the right-hand to the CEO, supporting him in hiring community
managers, fielding requests from vendors and partners and managing other aspects of the company.
Marketing and communications duties include:











Social media management (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Blog strategy and writing with SEO
Email marketing
Advertising strategy and administration (Google, Facebook)
Organize monthly business and startup events by identifying topics and speakers and promoting
Develop strategic partnerships
Event sponsorship (in-house and out events)
Attending and networking at strategic events
Web traffic, analytics, listings (Google, Yelp)
Email newsletters to members
Connect members
Qualifications:







BA in marketing, communications, business or related field
3+ years of experience running online and offline marketing campaigns
Close involvement with the Bay Area startup community
Experience with event planning
A natural match-maker with excellent communication skills
Creative, energetic self-starter with excellent communication skills
Previous work experience in a startup environment is a big plus
Pay, Hours, & Perks:




Part-time (20-25hrs) – opportunity to grow to full time
$30-40k / annual
Flexible vacation schedule
