Basic purpose:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will contribute to the sales success of Nelson Cengage Learning (School
division) – New Zealand by providing administrative support to sales, marketing and publishing by promoting
the Nelson Cengage Learning frontlist and backlist resources to the Secondary education market in New
Zealand.
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will liaise with Customer Service, Production, Marketing, booksellers and
customers regarding general enquiries.

team as required.

coordinate product information kits
for the sales team and booksellers
in line with brand and copyright
standards.
• Coordinate existing and new
databases via Excel and Magellan
to ensure all details, such as
contact names, addresses and
phone numbers are correct and
stored in accordance with NZ
Privacy Laws.
• Act as the liaison point for customer
service for special offers.
