They are produced in the ovary of the flower. 4. What is the male sex cell? The male sex cell is the pollen. Contains sperm that mature during pollination. 5. What is an embryo? A. An embryo is an immature plant. B. Sometimes called seed-germ 6. What does asexual propagation involve? A. Reproduction of plants using vegetative parts of the plants.
