Ancient Rome Timeline Activity Since the beginning of the Republic, Rome seemed to constantly be in constant war with their enemies. Whether it be because Rome was expanding, or Rome was defending it’s borders, Romans were seemingly always at war. This timeline and the additional questions will help you better understand the warfare that Romans lived with. Your Timeline should begin in 509 BCE and continue through to 476 CE, when the Roman Empire is said to have ended. Your timeline needs to include at least 15 specific battles including who fought, who won and the impacts of the battle. This timeline must also include major leaders in Roman history during this era, and their impacts on the Roman Empire. Below is a list of all of the leaders that will be included on the timeline.
