Webster’s (1981): Concerned with or using for effect words rather than meaning. DEFINITION American heritage (1992) -> Communication: 1. the exchange thoughts, messages, or information as by speech, signals, writing or behavior 2. The art and technique of using words effectively and with grace in imparting ones ideas. Gove (1981) -> Communication The act or action of imparting or transmitting facts or information.
